What Rambler ???

The one that was in the Snapfast Slammers series of custom snap kits with the Fury, Black Force and Concorde.  It was a custom early 60s Rambler American convertible w/ top up.  Ramblur.  Pics of the box art at this link

Thanks , guys ! I wasn't even aware of such an animal until now ! 

I remember the Fury , but that's it . Maybe I did see the 'Ram Blur' , and dismissed it because of its c.1994-1997 artwork and customising touches .

That’s a good kit to reissue! It appeared briefly and then totally disappeared. I never got even one. You never saw them for sale at shows

I once read that these were ex-Lindberg designs that were picked up by Ertl when Lindberg under new shady ownership, sent their R&D team off to unemployment.

i just wish AMT would Parts Pack the Slammer wheels so i wouldn't have to buy the whole kit for them.

These kits built make great interior door stops.  That's what I use them for now.   And the grandbaby can find him a car to play with too.  Built originally with my kids when they were young.  Simple enough to have a car to play with in a few minutes.

The Ramblurr was also released in the Looney Tunes series.

Good to see this (these, hopefully).

As far as I know, the had some nice wheels and tires, so I looked for some. But the prices are sky high. Maybe this could change that.

"Black Force" and "Ramblur"somehow aren't in this overview.

I'd really like to see "Road Block" make a comeback.'
