Easy. Correct seats, welded louvers need scribing that’s about it. Floor simple. External bonnet latches not difficult. I posted pics early in one of these threads. Nothing else much really.

I was reading another thread and saw it mentioned that Michael’s has them in stock now. So I just ordered it for same day pickup. Website says limited quantity. I have been waiting for this model forever lol. I would have never dreamed that I would be getting it from Michael’s but who cares where I get it ? Hopefully all issues will have been fixed

Haven't seen the coupe yet from any of my usual online vendors...I did get the new roadster kit last month from Model Roundup for my birthday...looks good..molded in dk green, tan and gray.

It's only the Revell Germany version that had the plastic issues right? The US version doesn't use red plastic?

The under side of the roof had this sticker on it , maybe to signify it had been checked for previous issues Body and chassis parts are red. Everything else is molded a very light grey color. Nice set of decals also. I’m no expert but it looks good to me, lots of details, it will be my next build. I’m happy ?

No the US version was the problem and has red plastic.

I am pretty sure the first reported problem I saw was from the German version. Anyway good that it seems fixed.

Indeed, the initial run from the Euro boxing had the irregularities in the plastic, the US boxing is just now showing up in North America.

Has anybody built the 1/16 Bandai/Entex XJ-S? The body looks pretty good to me, though the US headlights are a little sloppy.

Has anybody run across the Dunlop racing wheels for this kit in Resin?  All I’ve been able to find is from Thingiverse and I don’t have a way to print them.

USCP has sets with and without tires here.

July 12th: Just checked with USCP. The OD of their Dunlop wheels alone (their part number: 24W080) is 18.4mm

OD of the tires is: 28.5mm

Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland does Dunlop steel wheels as well, if you are happy to go through the hoops to order from them…

I scored one at Michaels last weekend- happy to report there are no sink marks (as seen on earlier posts in this thread) on my example. While the windshield height does not seem to have been corrected from the test shot photos, it overall has better proportions than the old Revellogram issue (ex-Aurora?) kit.

I was at Target on Friday and decided to walk across the parking lot and check out one of the world's worst Michaels. I thought they seemed to be getting rid of models, but they actually had five of the Jags on the shelf. Wonder what the deal is? They never had new releases before other stores before.

I picked one up this weekend at Michaels. (Thank you to the folks with that info!) However, the hood was up against the body’s A-pillars in the bag and it may have been too warm when packaged, causing it to spread. I have a replacement request in with Revell…

I don’t know. I emailed them about a replacement part, per the instruction manual.

Upon reading these posts I signed onto Michaels website today and got a discount coupon and bought one of the three Jags they had on the shelf. Was quite disappointed to get home and open the box to find this exact same problem....hood stretched over the A pillars in the bag and not aligning with the body...same as your photo. Is there any way to correct this without cutting the sides of the hood away and regluing and sanding in order to get tighter alignment? Was thinking of dunking the parts in hot water and then taping the hood and body together. I've only requested replacement parts from Revell once in my modeling history....a poorly chromed tree in a Roth Mysterion kit many many years ago. What's the current procedure?
