disconovaman
Kinda had to laugh when I watched Finnegan's garage where they went to Louisiana for the Costal Cruise... A Nascar with working head lights and taillights... driving it on the street! Awesome! Thanks to everyone for the great run we had this year, looking forward to starting next one. Seems like we're running close on the Cannonball Poll...

I don't really understand it either there are alot of members on here and there should be alot more votes? The poll is only separated by 5% from 1st to third place according to the stats? If we call it now we'll have a winner and I'm happy with that. I am a little disappointed that we didn't have more votes though. You're welcome to close the polls Mike, if you'd like... Lunajammer
Actually, we have 65 votes and as a comparison, there were 75 in 2018, 50 in 2019 and we had 63 votes in 2020. I'm satisfied with the count and we start 2022 in almost a week. I went ahead and closed the poll so the numbers are now locked. Ahh Ok, Good to know. I never knew how many votes there were previously... and I never noticed the Results Breakdown before either. It was a close run according to the vote percentages. I'm satisfied that it was a fair outcome. Thanks agian for setting it up and coordinating the poll. With one week to go before we officially start the next CBR we have just enough time to announce the winner. I know that was cutting it close and I'm sorry for the delay and suspense. Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Holidays! 😊

I kinda dragged my feet with calling it because it was so close. I guess I got caught up in the stats because I realized how to watch it unfold in real time. I kinda regret that now because I let it go longer than I should have. I apologize to you all for that, sincerely. However I did watch it closely and daily and I don't know how the past polls have played out but there were more than a few lead changes along the way and for me, it got exciting there for awhile. Judging from the results we can declare 89AKurt as the winner of the Cannonball Ruse 2021 CBR for that fabulous Subaru Impreza WRC. Congratulations Kurt. 1

I was expecting a PM or something. No way! 😲 Holy cow.... THANK YOU to everyone who voted for me. This started off my New Year on a very positive note, means so much for me. There were some great entries, I liked the Audi Quattro just because it was also a rally car.

Lunajammer
What a great turnout of finishers this year on a theme that got a lot of builders excited to join in. Special thanks to Jonathan (disconovaman) for keeping the energy up for the whole year and motivating builders to persevere. 👍
