AMT 66 Riviera. I really like this kit. This was my first time using foil. I hated the stock wheels so I copped these from a Corvette kit and made them fit as best as I could. My wife wanted it to be gold , the paint is a Vallejo color shift green but on white primer it does this pearl gold thing. I didn't clear the body and once I did the foil I didn't want everything to have the same sheen so it is what it is now. I did the engine in that color just because I had a 54 Buick with a nailhead years ago and I liked the teal. Exhaust and little detail work and I'm going to call it done. I'm learning and I see a lot of flaws but I feel like every one I do is better than the last.

Beautiful looking color and finish. The engine color reminds me of the OEM color that Buick used on their engines for years. You had mentioned flaws, but I don't see any. Very clean looking engine detail.

That's a beautiful build of a nicely detailed model. Your foil work looks impeccable. I like  whatever type of wash that was used on the valve covers as it gives them a cast look.

That is an excellent job! I wouldn’t have thought of painting it that brightly...but it works very well! The engine is nicely detailed  and your foil job is excellent also.

That looks great!! Now sure what flaws there are, she looks darn near perfect. I like the engine color too.

I know I am going to paint something in that color for sure.

Looks amazing. I too really like that colour, and your detailing is great especially around the wiper arms. I have wire wheels like that in my spares stash and been wondering what to use them on. I think I might pick one of these up after seeing this, very nice build!

Nice job.  Your first time at BMF looks good.  It gets easier as you go.  I'm gonna have to pick up one of these next time they come around.  My mom had a '67 Riv when I was in high school.   That was a fun car to drive, but could suck out half a tank of gas in 2 blocks....

Gorgeous "Rivi" David! Beautiful color! The choice of the wires' with wide whites really makes this build stand out! If you're learning...you're learning fast!
