tuffone20
I picked up this old Eldon kit and decided I wanted to build it right out of the box with no painting or detailing. I can remember my older brother building it when I was a very young kid. I had fun building it for the most part, but at times it was a real pain!

peteski
Nice! Some years ago one of my model club members built that kit. I liked it so much that I found and bought it on eBay. But i still haven't gotten to the building stage.
DonW
Oh this brings back memories. I built one of these kits back in the early seventies! Around the time I learned to scrape the chrome off the mating surfaces so the polystyrene cement would hold. Plenty of practice on this one! Koellefornia Kid
Didn't know about this kit, looks really cool!
Scott Colmer
That looks great, Marty. Super clean! I am hoping you got to see the GAS resurrection of the real thing. Good show. My favorite line: "I don't think they used a straight edge on one piece." Early showrods - so by the seat of your pants.

1959scudetto
Up to now, I didn't even know this kit existed - it is a really weird creation; I saw the real custom 50 years ago in the book "the craziest cars of the world" from 1971

Street Rod
That’s a neat kit! Never knew there was such a thing. Great job building it!
Claude Thibodeau
Hi Marty! Very well done. It seems there were no limits, back then, as to who would come up with the most outrageous idea. This show car certainly raised the bar... CT
showrods
There's absolutely on need to paint the car whatsoever. The plastic colour matches the photo almost perfectly. There are not too many kits where that's possible. Great build of a great kit.
mrm
OMG! Where do you guys find these? I love these cars and I tried several times to get any of them with zero success. Once in a blue moon one would pop up on "the bay" and usually would come with some ridiculously unreasonable price and in some cases equally ridiculous shipping cost from Japan. I would love to build them all and if anyone has one willing to part with for reasonable price, I will do it justice.
Dann Tier
These kits are so cool!, and yours looks sweet!!
