70mach1 Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Refinished in DuPont lacquer, Transtar clear coat. Minimal wiring and plumbing.
TransAmMike Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Very very nice Andy, but of course it IS a Corvette. Well done?
Lunajammer Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 What a cool piece. Well thought out and executed details.
BeakDoc Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 I’d have never guessed in a million years that Fathom Green would work on a Vette, but it dang sure does. Great looking build!
Beamerman Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Great job! Color fits perfekt to the Corvette...
Slimguy Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Very nice work Andy...the license plate is a nice touch!!
espo Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Beautiful looking finishes through out. The detailed engine looks great. The contrasting colors work best. I have seen a couple of Corvettes in this color. 1:1 scale, that had Greer or Black interiors and it just looked dead where the OEM's that were done in this way look great.
Flynlo Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Awesome build! My uncle had a ‘68 tri-power 427 Vette in this same color but a convertible with a black top. I had a ‘71 Chevelle in the lighter metallic green. As Kermit says “it’s not easy being green” but sometimes it works?
doorsovdoon Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 I wouldn't have thought of using that shade of green on a car like that but it actually suits it really well, it looks great! Very nice interior detail too.
kelson Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Cool build!, i built one in the exact same color, except mine is a smallblock car with wheelcovers and a luggage rack.
Speedpro Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Looks good. Nice detail work on the engine.
