bisc63 Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Beautiful model of an elegant automobile. Very nicely detailed and clean interior. WELL done!
AMT68 Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Excellent work on a rarely seen model with the paint, foil and dashboard detail.
TransAmMike Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Very nice looking Chris. If I may ask, did you use the paint over foil method on the emblems?

Indeed I did, Mike. It was my first attempt at that method. I think with more practice I could fine tune the technique and get a better result. It is certainly less time consuming than applying Molotow with a sewing needle. Less strain on the eyes too.

Looks real good, I guess I'm gonna have to give it a try. Thanks.
Spottedlaurel Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Really nice build of something that I imagine is a bit of a rarity (both as a kit and at 1:1). I'd be very happy to have that on my shelf.
Plowboy Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 That's some nice work on that land yacht! Don't see these often at all. Nice to see an old kit get built!
ATHU Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Beautiful color, excellent paint job and nice attention to detail under the hood. Stunning build!!
1959scudetto Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Though I would prefer the 66/67 Toronado body style, you have built a superb model, Chris,d awesome paint and interior detailing
TonyK Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 I have never liked this car but having said that, I can appreciate a very nice model of it. A very sharp looking model and a beautiful paint job.
hct728(Bob) Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Very nice! Great colour choices, highlighted by just enough chrome to add sparkle, took a bit of work with BMF I suspect, neatly done too!
