espo Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Very cleanly detailed build. I like the wheels and the stance.
cobraman Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 That is different, I like different ! Very cool.
Dodge Driver Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Excellent! The upgrades completely change the attitude of the car for the better.
Mattilacken Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Nicely done there! It looks like some thing driving around here in my home town and all of Sweden actually! ?’
Spottedlaurel Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 That looks great! I can see there was a lot of work required on the window trims and other brightwork, it's come out really well.

mrmike Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 (edited) Looks great! Definitely different from mine. It took me a while, but I figured a way to lower mine so it didn't look like a 4X4! Edited August 22, 2021 by mrmike
Jonathan Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 YES! Man, I love this build! We once had a well used 740 Turbo, man that thing was fun to fling around. Wish I'd kept it ...
e30lover Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Nicely done! Great job on BMF too. You truly captured all the cool aspects of Swedish Volvo builds!
Hotrod 97 Posted August 21, 2021 Posted August 21, 2021 Looks great! I like the “personality” that it has. Nice color choice!
iamsuperdan Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Whoa. I didn't even see this thread when I posted mine earlier. Looks like we have the same idea for colour. After some of the issues I had with mine, I was thinking I'd get another kit and do something very similar to what you did. Nicely done!
Jurva Posted August 24, 2021 Author Posted August 24, 2021 After alot of thinking, I lowered it this way. In front, I didn't use kit brakes. Glued styrene piece to the lower suspension arm. Then drilled hole to it, allowing new stud(white part) to be mounted up(thus lowering car). For the rear, I left out springs and the triangle structure. I drilled the center axle hole little bit bigger, allowing rear axle to be pushed closer to the chassis. I would have liked to have the suspension little bit lower in the rear, but axle interfered with stock exhaust. So that needs to modified too, if you want lower rear even more.
Dann Tier Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Wow!, another sweet Volvo!!! very tastefully done as well!!
