Nosferatu Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 I love bubble tops and fins. I am forever trying to re-create the ‘60’s show car look. Big Daddy Roth is my design idol. His cars are so out there. I am not trying to make his designs better but just trying to add other features from my imagination. I love looking at a pile of parts and imagining what I can make out of it…..sometimes it works and sometimes it all gets cut up into pieces and I start on something else.I took the Roth Road Agent and spliced a VW rear body and a pair of ’57 Chevy fins. The original bubble didn’t look right so I filled it in and added my own bubble. Interior is all scratch built, with a parts box seat. Scratch built front end that I kicked out from the body. Most peoples’ choice for engines would be the Corvair engine that came with the Road Agent but I didn’t want to use that. I chose a Porsche engine from the old Revell Competition Porsche model. I think it’s a 1955 Porsche Carrera by the looks of the engine.Painted in Lime Ice with a white pearl mist on the front and fin inserts. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave
