1957 Ford Squire wagon

This is a Jimmy Flintstone body that was very nice. Very little clean up, and all the chrome fit really nice.

I opened the hood, and gave it some hinges, and used a donor 1957 ford kit to complete it.

Woodgrain was a challenging process, but fun.

Beautiful looking wagon. I like the wood graining work, I also have enjoyed that on a few builds. This looks like the body might have been based on the old Revell kit that was offered with a multi part body.

The Ohio plate says that the wagon was never driven after Labor Day......no rust....LOL

Well done,  one big problem though.  Hood is hinged  on the wrong end. 57-59 Fords had forward opening hoods.

Yeah. Sometimes you take liberties. I put a lot of work in the engine and engine bay, and wanted to be able to have it seen - MY BAD !!
