1966 Pontiac GTO double - Revell #85-4479

finished thes two Pontiacs in November 2019 - wow. thats long ago.

The background is to replicate a fathers "only one picture existing car from the highschool back in the days" car. The color was named first barrierblue, but it came out too dark. So i decided to choose fontaineblue that matches the picture i had better.

Body is painted with color out of the rattlecan, mixed and ordered from a paintshop online. engine is Testors Pontiac engine color. Interior is simply flat white, black carpet and dash.

The original had no stripes. I built both the same (except the color) and detailed the engine. The Lady who got them sended was very pleased.

Both are one of my favorites. The kit is perfekt. I had no issues with them.
