Webb Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 I know the Baby Moons will be controversial, but I always liked them. Color is Forrest Green metallic. Wheels and tires are from an Opel GT kit. Added Accel super coil, Detail Master distributor and wires, velocity stack with headlight screen and battery cables. I'm still playing with camera settings to get it right. Not there yet! 1
Peter Lombardo Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Nice and clean, just like the Cobra before ir.
Classicgas Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Nothing controversial about baby moons, unless you're passing them off as stock lol. Very nice work.
Gluebomber Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Nice clean build, Chris, with some good detail. Great Job!
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 I´m a huge fan of those Baby moons! Colour is great, too! Beautiful build!
Webb Posted November 6, 2021 Author Posted November 6, 2021 Thanks guys! I almost put America Racing mags on it. Now I'm glad I didn't. I thought Baby Moons might be too "old school".
AMT68 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Stunning build, perfect shade of dark green metallic and the wheels are very attractive.
Hi-Po Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Looks good to me. Nice and clean and great color choice.
Dodge Driver Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 A big thumbs up for everything, wheels included! ?
Chuckyg1 Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 The moms look fine. Clean build & nicely detailed engine bay. Is the color factory?
Zippi Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 That Forrest Green metallic with the tan interior is a nice match. Saw one of these at a car show a few months back about the same color. Nice job.
rickcaps55 Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Nice awesome build great colors and i think the baby moons look good with the white letter tires on that car.
doorsovdoon Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Nice clean work on the engine. I love those wheels!
Nacho Z Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Wow! I like everything about this. Great job. The color and paint job are really nice. My first car had baby moons so I have a soft spot for them.
happy grumpy Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 You did what most car owners back then were doing, your car, your choice.Same with models you do what YOU like. Personally, I think the wheels fit the car nicely, and the dark green gives it that sleeper look. Very well done,
espo Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Great looking paint work and I like the OEM look with the interior. Your engine mods make a great day two look for the engine. Baby Moons, I can't tell you how many sets I bought from PEP Boys back then. That was sort of the standard even with chrome rims if you were on a budget.
Webb Posted November 7, 2021 Author Posted November 7, 2021 Thanks a lot guys! The color is a GM color, but not available on '68 Firebirds.
Geno Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 What's not to love, it's a Firebird, stunning build Chris.
