I Dug this out of the collection of builts that never got put into a display cabinet, intending to clean the dust off and put it on a shelf.

Built some 25+ years ago, I felt it deserved a little more love than the silver-painted trim allowed for.

Foiled it, polished of a dust nib or two, swapped in some whitewalls, and gave it a good scrubbing.

Love the 421 powered 65 2+2. I built it years ago in the color Mayfair Maize light yellow but forgot to do the chrome trim like you completed. I better dig it out and get busy. Thanks for showing your machine.

I like to revisit older models, sometimes a little work and effort will give great resuslts as you demonstrated here. Cool model and great improvements.

I really like what you have done. One of the prettiest 1:1 cars I have ever seen was 66 2+2 in metallic brandywine. Ooo Wee!
