Brudda Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 AMT Ferrari 250 swb. Just mixed up some green out of toners. Fujimi wire wheels. Took a long time to get this body acceptable. The kit body is really off but trying to make make it work. 8
Bullybeef Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Been kicking this kit further and further to the dark area under my desk, I stole the engine and rolling stock for other projects so it was just a box of parts. I’ve never been a fan of the styling at all so I figured it had bothered me long enough to do something about it. I trimmed the fenders off and found this windshield in my box of glass so I tried it out. It needs better wheels and tires but this was so I could see the stance. we will see if it gets any further to make a build thread. The un-beatniked bandit 4

I have one of these, still thinking about what needs to be done to make it right. Looks like you've developed the recipe for it. Congrats!

So this is what I’m trying to accomplish. My friends fun is when he takes a $5 kit and wins a contest with it. This is his fun in modeling. He has already won most contests and has this new challenge. It seems to be working. He is always in the magazine for the NNL west and always places in a IPMS contest. It’s his way of keeping interest in the hobby. Nothing wrong with that.

I like slowly's files. I printed out a few sets of his vintage custom wheels the other day and they turned out great 1
OldNYJim Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Salt-flats Bug that I’ve been very casually messing with for a few months…getting closer to being able to paint it, soon as I figure out a seat and steering wheel… 7

Cool Hand Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 (edited) Wheels mounted and stance set on another Holden HQ Lowrider, this one is for a build off on Instagram. Edited December 10, 2023 by Cool Hand 4
Joe Handley Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 As I wrap up the ‘69 Charger Convertible build, this will be the next old build to pop up on the desk. Want to put a Jeep 4.0l in it but I still can’t find one, so I’m going to raid one of my Matador Stock Car kits for the engine and change up the rolling stock and color from what I was going to do……just not sure what I’m going to do yet for those. 5
Flatout Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Revell 30 Ford Coupe. Front cross member, front axle, and wheels and tires from the latest release of the Revell 32 Roadster. 7

mvadrag Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 I am trying for a more modern stance for MPC's old Malco Gasser Mustang with the wheels and tires tucked inside the lowered body. I still want the zoomies coming out under the front fenders like the gasser. 2

Brudda Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 R5. Renault. Very different. At least for me. It’s so weird I have to build this. 5
Modlbldr Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Mock up of a build I'm planning soon. Got the 65 Chevelle to finish, the 18th annual 24 hr build to do in a few weeks and then on to this. Not sure which body, the sedan or coupe. Later- 4
Modlbldr Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 A bit of a different take on my last mock up. Think I'll build them both. This one and the Sedan. Got the front suspension already together on this one. Later- 2
