That's nice! Where can I get one?

I got it from Robert Burns ("Too Many Projects" on Facebook).

Ok, here's the real mock-up

Been playing around with this truck that started out as a rat rod, but I am changing the direction. Decided to find a twin turbo V8 Detroit diesel, use large singles on the rear and low profile tires on the front. Maybe the idea of diesel street rod. CEFDBE78-D25A-46B2-99CB-61E74BF0446F.thumb.jpeg.66792695d765852c0f0a521ff41fb778.jpeg

Revell '50 Ford F-1 setting on Foose pickup frame, wheels and tires. Finally got it setting where I like it. Not sure about color yet, was thinking maybe stock green with some weathering, but I've never done the weathering thing so I got'ta think about that.

Here's my mockup of a Bigfoot #1 on 48" tires. They're 1/32 scale 66" monster truck tires and wheels that scale out to about 48" in 1/25th scale.

I've been playing with this Coca Cola issue 72 Chevy trying to turn it into Cooter's 1st tow truck. I bought some paint that I thought was the right color, until I sprayed it & it was a High flake gold nothing like the color on the cap.?

OK! It's down to two: long bed w/o hood or short bed w/o hood

Not much to go on but this might end up being the rolling stock for the flat fender Jeep. The tires are the smaller desert dogs from Modelhaus Ann the wheels are from the Deserter GMC kit. Hopefully, relocating the rears under the leaf springs will give it the perfect lift like the CJ5 I did a while back.

Well, starting my build. Began with an AMT Snow Plow kit. Front axle and rear winch are Kit Form Services items. Wheels and tires are from my PRIZED Scenes Unlimited stash.

Not modeling a real truck. Just letting my imagination flow (having fun!). Was thinking of a rear spade like tanks use in recovery operations. Maybe a welder and tanks mounted behind the cab.

I scratch built the front bumper and winch.     Throw me some ideas! 20230317_201317.thumb.jpg.d8f303317e445de1ab5b6f7209c5b68f.jpg20230317_201330.thumb.jpg.01fb7f63872dfddd1e5d364d6fae9e89.jpg20230317_201346.thumb.jpg.5fae15cacc49f7fafab8264a650e19fa.jpg20230317_201422.thumb.jpg.cb6b9d00b62b0aa3f85df5a9f9b1438a.jpg

Here's a mock up of a 1937 Ford tow truck with an art deco style boom sketch and military style tires and wheels. The bed sides are from the parts stash and will be modified as the design is refined.

The top is actually pearl white. I'm having trouble choosing the interior color. Here are the two options: (my wife already eliminated light gray). If green, it will be two tone with white. Tan will be accented with other shades of tan/brown. thumbnail_20230417_174357.jpg.51f4fc6f6d45b1d8e0056af11253c975.jpgother shades of tan/brown.
