David G. Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I love these old Monogram kits. You've certainly done this one justice, it looks great! David G.
Gluebomber Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 That's pretty darn impressive! I built this model when I was about 12 years old and I've been thinking about building another one with today's better paints and techniques. If I do one I hope it turns out as nice as yours.
Phildaupho Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Beautiful model. I have had a couple Deusies in my stash for decades which I still hope to build some day. As a kid my dad helped me build a metal bodied kit.
espo Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Beautiful looking finishes and chrome details. These were such stately looking vehicles and your build captures that look.
happy grumpy Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Great model of an all time classic. Great color choice.
Kah puts Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 The 40 Grand, twice as nice as the 20. Impressive build.
baycolony Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Very nice build. The color and the chrome together makes this kit a stunner.
TooOld Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Very nice and it looks great in that color , really classic !
mrm Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Love the cars from that era. The Deusenbergs were on top of their game back then. The color combo you picked looks great on the car. But I think someone stole the right taillight.LOL

It was black and the letters formed an arch around the top of the lenses. At the bottom was a small red circle that almost looks painted on. I knew that the taillight had the lettering but never found any good photos of it until recently. So I've left it. I'll do differently on the next one. Have a convertible to build yet. 1
