Hello guys!

Just completed this one. Pretty decent kit that went together without any issues. Color is Vallejo Sky Blue.

Thanks for checking it out!

Excellent model, Anders - in a very unusual color. The "Principauté of Monaco" (residence of the rich and super-rich) license plate is absolutely fitting here !

Therefore it must the latest reissue of this kit (I have the original issue in my stash) which seems to have different tires - at least they look different, mine are the same as in Italeri's Ferrari 250 and 275 kits - though both are too wide.

Great combo together with the later Roadster ! I plan my gullwing in dark grey like you did your Roadster, and the open car in a light metallic green with dark green uphostery (I read some time ago that a few were produced in this rare combination).

Both models look great!  I do like the unusual (but pretty) blue paint.

I didn't know that Italeri made a model of that car. Was it Italeri's original, or is this the same  kit as the old AMT kit?

Thanks Peter!

I don't really know but my best guess is that it is Italeri's original. As I recall it the old AMT kit was 1/25 scale.

It is Italeri's own development (no ex-Esci or Protar reissues like they do often these days...) - they released their own  gullwing and the roadster in the 80's (ca. 1986/87). I have both and also the amt kit which is totally different: 1/25 scale with poseable steering and opening doors and trunk.

Thanks for the info Helmut.
