Richard Bartrop Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Some nice, but now crazy expensive models of some open wheel racers from the front engine era would be high on my list, as would be a decent model of an Auburn speedster. At least two companies thought there was enough demand for a full sized replica, so you would think there would be enough for a scale model.

Why Revell decided to do a 1992-1997 CV when the 1998 to 2011 models STILL are on the road will always escape me. Lindberg had a fine model of the older style but the later one which was in production for 13 years-nothing but diecast. Edited February 5, 2019 by The Junkman
NYLIBUD Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Yes diecast I have. And I actually own a P71 black Crown Victoria,.It was a PA's deaf Full police page.Threw on a fresh air intake, and a set of Flowmasters on it.So it rides like a Caddy, and it has the power and speed of a Mustang.
Greg Myers Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 (edited) need one of these, MGA roadster almost a Cobra Edited February 5, 2019 by Greg Myers
HomerS Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 I know Jimmy Flintstone makes one of the Revell Cadillac CTS but I want the Pontiac version.
65slotcar Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 if it could be something other then a car, Fiat Cobra Transporter. gt4 Mustang for a car.
MrObsessive Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 Had Pontiac survived this would have been among its lineup. It's a shame as IMO this is a great alternative for those of us that don't care for big, tall trucks and wouldn't want to be seen in an SUV/CUV. What might have been..................
espo Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 If GM and the Pontiac Division could have just hung on another year we would have gotten the Ute. I was already to trade in my '05 GTO that was the2 door version. The local dealer had already told me that as soon as he got the order info he would call me so we could order what I wanted. Sadly it was not to be. Should Revell or another company offer a really good kit of the UTE I would buy more than a few kits.
Jeffcad Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 (edited) Hi ! Tough question !. Only Cadillac for me... Passion's too big, I couldn't pick only one or two, there are so many models I'd love to see made!. In fact, would be great to see the ones that could fill the gaps that Jo-Han Models has not produced. So, many Sedans or limousines. Here are just a few I would love in my collection. 1949-1953 Fleetwood, 1954 Eldo and 1958 Eldorado Brougham, 1960 limo and 1962 Coupe deVille, 1967 and 1969 Limos, 1972 Fleetwood and 1976 Limo, 1977-78 and 1980-84 Eldorado Biarritz................etc etc... espo Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 For a Cadillac I would go for a '57 or '58 Coupe de Ville or a '64 or '65 series 62 coupe. I know it is being offered by a couple of casters but I would buy a '79 thru '83 Malibu coupe or wagon.
Richard Bartrop Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 If I had to pick one Cadillac to make a model kit, I'd go with the '49. The second year of the tailfins, but the first year of the OHV V8. You have something for the classic fans, but also kitbashing material for the hot rod crowd.
PappyD340 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 How about a 2009-2018 Dodge ram w/Hemi and Ram 2500 & 3500 complete w Cummings diesel
espo Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 I think Revell offered a Ram 1500 2wd with the Hemi. The only thing I remember is that the picture on the box was of a blue truck. I'm sure I had one but it can't be found now. I have sold of many kits in the last few years and I'm afraid this could have been one of them.
Richard Bartrop Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Round2 apparently thinks it's worth offering a diecast 1931 Peerless. Maybe offer a kit version?

That came with a version of the Viper V10. The Hemi wasn’t introduced in the Rams until the following generation, which was never yet kitted.

And don't waste tooling dollars on a Foose or Boyd one either! Edited March 19, 2019 by Oldcarfan27
MrObsessive Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I would love so much a 1979-80 Eldorado! That's an overlooked subject for sure! In the mid '90's I was working on making a 'corrected' Revell '58 Brougham. I lost interest in it, but have been of the mind to attempt it once again in the future. Too bad we never got a good kit of this in the first place. The '54 I have with a very nice Danbury Mint yellow one I got years ago. Also I have the '54 Coupe DeVille which can go for crazy bucks on eBay!
