I hit the Deerfield HL yesterday; no clearance kits but I was there to get more casting rubber.

Got a couple sets of '55 Dodge Lancer promo wheelcovers cast up plus a couple sets of custom cone wheelcovers from the '61 Ford pickup kit, and I'm working on trying to get some no-pinhole copies of the '63 Ford pickup's custom grille (thanks gardnerpag44 - you'll get 'em soon!)

In the Heat of the Night TV police car decals; they're the closest I've found to these shields from the Cooley High Chicago Police cruiser:

I'll have to scan and modify them but it's a start.

I picked up the "Mod Rod" and since Lindberg's '34 Ford pickup was on the shelves, I got one of those as well.  The plan is to use the chassis and wheels from the pickup to try and duplicate John Athan's roadster.

I have the Skyline kit...Very nice!!, but that Honda SB-1 is my favorite in this bunch!!….its sweet!!

Picked up this 51 Ford rebuilder for dirt cheap (to me, anyway) the other day and just got it in the mail yesterday. I've never seen a 51 before so I am excited to have it. Other than a top, it is complete.

Just picked all this up at Hobby Lobby. Out the door for $36 and change! I used the coupon on the paint. All these kits were on clearance for $7.49 each!

HL in Conroe. Headed to Huntsville tonite. Got everything I wanted except the Yenco Vette. They already sold the only one they had. Girlfriend picked the 37 and 57 Fords, the Torino is to build one of my Dads cars, the 53 I needed to go with my hardtop and the other two just because they were cheap.

For anyone building a Unimog model, here's a huge load of photos and other reference material from the Rocky Mountain Moggers.  While Unimog is not huge in the USA, some do get imported, especially in the Pacific Northwest and mountain states.

Fire equipment fans should find the Unimog-American LaFrance fire trucks interesting.  They come in many different configurations.  And the page  even has a Toys & Models section.

Is that new paint or a new style label ? I don't recall seeing one like that .

Must be a resin transkit.

Or a complete resin kit.

There was never a 1/25th scale plastic '51 Ford kit produced.

My guess is that it's an AMT '50 Ford convertible body modified for the resin '51 parts.

Seems to me that there were some '51 transkits available in recent years.

It's apparently a new label. It's in the "one coat" lacquers line. I think all the other colors' cans were the older label.

Oh yes there was, sort of:

The ITC kit. Looks like the grille and taillights on Tom's kit may have been copied/sourced from it, but he'll still need the dash and hubcaps.
