That particular Ferrari looks like it could have been cribbed for a fiberglass body (for a VW Beetle pan) back in the day.  It's surprising nobody did one.

Traded a diecast for this one:

It was on the condition that I build it as the dragster version:

Might still make some minor mod's, even if it's just a change of wheels and tyres.

I hope the latch and hinges on the engine lid are strong enough for when the 'chute is deployed....

Good to see the old price tag on it. Apparently Taylor & McKenna had 10 shops and were bought by Beatties in 1987.

Interesting thing about that kit is that you can build a stock VW and still have a complete dragster chassis. I was thinking of using it on a Dauphine body I have.    And that was the last run of the old IMC VW!   No telling what happened to the tooling after that!

Got ‘em today.  Along with two others I’d been eyeing.

Not crazy about the new graphics on the troublemaker kit though.  I prefer the original decals.

Received this from a member here. I'm speechless, which my wife will tell you happens very seldom.

Sometimes people's generosity just stuns me and I see a bit of hope for humanity and then I go to work and recognize I have to take it individual by individual.

Again, many thanks, everything will definitely find a home!

Got these for under $80, shipped. I hadn't seen this issue of the 240Z that I ever recall. The GT 500 is just sentimental--I built one, back in my early modeling days--it was a big deal, to me, because I ordered it from Auto World! It might have been the Modern Classics(?) version. The shipping on both items was more than the kits! No combining that, as it was two different sellers. Anyway, not sure what I'll do with the Woody. I already tossed the glue, paint and brush.

Arrival from Ebay does anyone remember Meng offering  a resin exterior accesories kit for the 2013 jeep they offered?,i didn't but this popped up,so i grabbed it,looks pretty decent.?

I recall reading about this Jeep and someone was going to release this set at a later date.  Never seen it listed but didn't look for it much after the prices of the Jeep, didn't come down much.  Every pic of the Jeeps that I have seen done look great.

Thanks Tom, didn't realise that it started life as an IMC kit. Thought it was odd being Japanese and 1/25 scale.

Found a few more built/WIP examples when I searched with the IMC name. Looks like it has its challenges, maybe one to just enjoy and not take too seriously....

Asked my acupuncturist for the needles he uses.  These are smaller than the thinnest guitar string I have, 0.01mm.  There must be something I can use these for.

Pretty cool.  Will you go with the box art graphics or do your own thing with it?

I didn't "need" these at all, but they were cheap, they make great parts donors, and as this is the last generation of "stock" cars I have any interest in whatsoever (and damm near every other kind of racing is represented in my collection already) I'll build one of 'em, for sure.

Just picked up another one of these todayIMG_6573.thumb.jpeg.8348fed66186c72cf0bfe545a3f245ab.jpeg

the shop also had an OBS Chevy truck, but couldn’t justify spending early as much on that when it is just a curbside compared to this kit.
