RSchnell
Hit Model Fest in Melbourne, FL this morning and picked up a few goodies. Not the biggest show here in FL, but good prices on kits and talking kits & seeing people you only see a few times a year makes the experience. Was pleased to snag the R & D Unique Model A Pickup for $20-my most expensive purchase. Everything else was under $20, in some cases $10 each. I plan to leave '32 Vicky as is same with the '37 Ford Coupe. I'll post show photos in the show thread.

I intend to build a replica of my Model A Pickup that was my shop truck when I owned the resto shop. I think this resin kit and the chassis from the new ICM Model A will make a real nice combo & should turn out great! And a heck of a lot easier than cutting down a Revell Tudor Sedan that I had planned earlier.
HomerS
Wife called me from the local WM a couple day ago as there was a shipper in the toy department but mostly the Coca Cola models. I stopped by this a.m. and apparently the other shipper just got set. Grabber a couple Demons, a Mach Won and an AWB Chevelle. Great show (Cincinnati Challenge) today. Grabbed a couple things in the swap meet area but did have a couple stand outs. Really like the oddball Hueller Citroen kits. Dealer didn't have the vans with him today. Yeah I know there is talk about the Revell 62's coming back but until I have one in my hands, I wasn't passing up this piece of Detroit Iron (partially assembled but not painted). niteowl7710
Couple of things from the past weeks. Box in from HobbyEasy that has the latest NuNu reissue of their Audi R8 GT3. This has the revised Evo II rear spoiler (no more $25 resin conversions). Also got the kit's designated P/E set. Two sets from Shunko, the Clarion is a newly done sheet, the Loctite is a reprint. Both replace the kit decals in the corresponding older Tamiya kits. Also the new interior Carbon Fiber sheets for the MENG version of the Audi R8 GT3. Nominally a little more important than doing the same on the NuNu kit as the MENG kit has opening doors. Lastly for this update 3 of the newest sets of decals from S.K. Decals. You'll need some brand new resin bits from ZoomOn to fully convert the NuNu 320i to how each of the liveries ran in 1:1. The Hello Kitty decals fit the above referenced NuNu R8.
Straightliner59
I've been watching for a good price on an MPC Mack DM 600. It didn't need to be an original--I just wanted the kit. Turned out the first one that came along at a price I liked was this original MPC release! It's one of my "comfort kits"--those kits that really take you back to your time as a neophyte modeler. It's missing the decals, but, I don't need them. It sure looks good sitting in the stash with one of my other "comfort kits"; An original Ertl Transtar. I bought it, even before Round 2 announced the redux.

Exotics_Builder
My "haul" from yesterday's Pacific Northwest Model Car Fest Great show. I wound up buying the Mercedes and Alfa at very good prices. The rest were raffle wins, including the top raffle prize of an airbrush set.

I was working on one in 1975. I lengthened the frame, for some reason. It was painted two-toned, Pactra Blazing Red and Lightning Purple. I never did finish it. niteowl7710
My NNL East show haul. Alright so no one was selling the Miku Z4, but I picked it up from a friend who shared a co-order, so I say it counts. Stuff in the left column I purchased to replace old original 90s Monogram releases I had sold off. They were pretty musty and dusty after all of those years and I yearned for fresh decals.
