A modeler named mike Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 This new arrival popped up on my eBay notifications last week so I grabbed it immediately. I also bought an AMT kenworth W-925 kit as its powerhouse which will be arriving soon. 2

1959scudetto Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 Arrived today via mail (ebay Germany): I stumbled over this fine body kit (made in Italy by BRM, intended to become a 1/24 slot racer) with crisp details and even photo-etched parts which will be turned into a static model using the old Heller 512 S as a donor kit for chassis, drivetrain and interior: It comes with 3 different versions of rear wings and compares very well with Fisher's Sunoco 512 M: 7
John M. Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 A small box of spare parts for two nice rebuilders arrived in the mail at my house just a short time ago from the same E Bay vendor in Seattle that I recently got the Lotus racer from. I didn't have them in my parts stash but he certainly did and cheap to boot. 2
PatW Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 (edited) An already started one of these. I just hope that the decals are 100%! 22.04.24 Arrived today all parts there, and decals look okay, but not tried. Edited April 22, 2024 by PatW 1

I am impressed with how smooth and shiny the body is. Thanks for sharing. 1

Modlbldr Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 Went to a sale today and got all of this paint for $40. Mostly all is unused. Also picked up another Pie Wagon for $15. Only the engine is started. Later- 5
carrucha Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 I have been on the fence about buying Revell's 1985 Camaro Z28. After seeing a couple of builds of this kit on this forum and watching HPI Guys video I decided to buy the kit. I went to Hobby Lobby the other night and bought it. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of detail for a snap kit. It has a very nice decal sheet. Now I just need to get some tire decals for it. 1

I have a number of different scribers and use each in different circumstances and the Tamiya is very controllable (except at corners) and leaves a clean cut.

Modlbldr Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Picked up this built-up for $10 at the sale the other day along with the paint and Pie Wagon. Whoever had it before was a HEAVY smoker. So, today it goes into a soak of Lysol cleaner and warm water. Next will be a good scrubbing. May pull the engine for use in something else and make this a curbside. Later- 3
