I have a marroon one and a white pearl one. How many different colors are there of this car?

To be honest i'm not sure, but they're cheaper than the Neon kits.

I went to an estate sale, and got a load of kits.  A good chunk of my want list has been taken care of, and only went a little over budget.

I managed to snag these resin kits for $16 Canadian each.   I had been collecting parts for a Mercury Speadster, so the transkit will make things much easier.

This was one of my grail kits.  They hardly ever turn up on eBay, and I got this one for $24.

The Olds was the priciest one at $40.

These were $16 each.  I bought a second Packard as a parts car for another project, though I found another partly completed one on a table of $4 kits.

This as also on the $4 table, so I snapped it up.

Nice haul! What scale is the Olds and the Monroe Special?

I'm pretty fond of them myself.  I blame reading Walter Musciano's book on modeling at an impressionable age.  It also seems to be one of the few in the series that has an engine.

NOW I see the scale on the Olds box. (I did look earlier ?). How many are in the series? I’ve only recently become aware of these models.

I believe the Buick has an engine as well.

Next time you think "I'll get it next time", think about the Revell '29 roadster and '30 coupe kits first time around...

That is what happened to me is I picked something else to buy with my 40% coupon and waited othe 30 model a and I didn’t get one..

Just got this in the mail from Mike's decals, an early 80s Buick Regal donor kit. Hoping to build it into a car I raced in the early 2000's at a local track.

Decals will be the tricky part.

Hey Jason, go to the grocery store and get yourself a box of these. Your artwork is on the cone wrapper!

That cone wrapper almost looks like it would be a pretty  good fit for the hood, have to get myself some.

Thanks pal.

These have been on the market for the last 16 or so years... I'm surprised they are still being made....

Got these in the mail yesterday from a trade with DPNM. The Mini has had the body painted (might just be able to polish it out) and the other two are unstarted.

Got this from eBay.  Wanted a '29 Ford/Ala Kart kit for years, but mint originals are out of my budget.  I'm guessing an adult-ish builder started this one many years ago, then set it aside.

It looks complete, though the Kart chassis is built and both engines are painted/assembled.  The decal sheet is untouched.  If it is missing anything, I may be able to steal parts from the last Round 2 reissue of the '29 Ford.  The price seemed reasonable, it cost less than a current issue kit from Hobby Lobby.

Picked this up at the local Hobby store.

First time building a Moebius kit.

Looks like a nice kit.

Also picked up this old Turbine engine kit. I'm going to use it in the Knight Rider 2000 car, which came with no engine. Should be fun.

Last, but not least, my son got this 1972 Duster for me for my Bday. Looking forward to start it. First kit I ever had that included heater hoses and a fuel line with filter.

Thanks! I decided that at those prices, I needed a couple more '65 Elkys and Tiger Sharks! Who knows if or when these will ever be run again, and I've learned not to count on Ollie's. B)
