GeeBee Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 And yet another one of these, this one will probably be converted to a van ....
Belugawrx Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) And one of the latest re- issues (I think) from Tamiya, the Honda MotoCrosser in 1.12th scale............. I also built a Suzuki MX from Tamiya many years ago. You will like that cr250r I built the 450 not too long ago and it came out great IMHO.... If you build it make sure there is an actual clutch cable fitment Cheers Edited December 11, 2014 by Belugawrx
o-man Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Picked these sets up from Amazon. They had the best price by far. May have something big to use them on...
martinfan5 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Got a new #3 tip today to replace the one that broke
935k3 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) I got this from mshobbies(great prices and service) This kit has as many or more parts then Fujimi's Enthusiast series. You can see the parts and instructions here http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10289550. The doors open and close not just pose one way or the other. It is a very nice model. Edited December 12, 2014 by 935k3

chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 So I missed out on the MPC Jeep a while back, but cruising around Bangor we happened to go to the dollar store, and I picked up a couple of toy Jeeps that are gosh darn near 1/24 scale. They're going to get militarized more... Some fixes to be done but they're quite accurate Also got a 1980s-ish GI Joe figure at an antique store for two bucks... Do I care about GI Joe (although he is an American Hero...)? No, but he had some rad guns, a Mosin Nagant and a full-size Uzi

VW93 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Bought a Tamiya paint stand at HL with my 40% off coupon. Model kits were on sale at 25% off so I passed on a kit purchase. Also picked up an AMT 65 Buick Wildcat Customizing Series that was marked as a parts kit for $5.00 at a local flea market. Checked it out thoroughly when I got home and found it was complete except for the side window glass. Edited December 16, 2014 by VW93
av405 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Bought a Tamiya paint stand at HL with my 40% off coupon. Are we not allowed to use the 40% coupon on something that's already been marked down? Sorry, I'm not sure how HL operates.
Deathgoblin Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Got in a Ford flathead engine for the 49 Ford kit. I think i'm gonna use it in my 49 Mercury woody, and use the engine from the Mercury in my gluebombed 49 ford.
VW93 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Alberto, if an item is on sale at HL the 40% off coupon can not be used. I usually pick up supplies in that case, and then wait until the models are off sale before I buy any.
GeeBee Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Just ordered one of these, no plans on building it any day soon, but as money from the sale of these kits go to a Children cancer charity, it's a worthy cause ....
