Cool! I have a '67 promo that need restoring. Windshield is cracked but I have a common reissue '69 for replacement.

You are giving your PayPal account quite a workout this week! B)

I gotta tell you, Rich, I've been rolling hot dice. Every one I missed out on during the last couple of months has popped up again at the right time. :)

I can relate. I just wrapped up a temp job that paid well enough that for a few months there, I was on a hot streak on the Bay myself. And to my utter delight, a number of my "holy grails" became available during this time. B)

Have only bought one kit in the last month or so. I think my credit card is almost back to room temperature now.

Nice score Joe, but you do know that chrome tree is from the '65 kit, right?

At least the original chrome pieces included look to be in pretty good shape.

Just rolled back in from the DuPage show with a bunch of small stuff:

The '56 Ford vert is complete (rest is in a bag); really wanted it for the dog dish caps but it will go back together nicely once I mold them. As you can see from the Pontiac photo etch set, Okey Spalding was there with Jo-Han stuff.

Are the 55-6 Pontiac p/e sets available anywhere other than shows? I.e. web order?

Received a package from Norm at R&M.

Lots of excellent parts to help with a little side project going on here in the lab. Two that you see here where mastered by myself, the rest for aiding in creating more pieces of the set. Oh, and also a special extra bonus T-Bold kit.

Got some supplies at Hobby Lobby today. Flat White acrylic craft paint, some Sharpies, more #11 Exacto blades, bsi super glue accelerator, fine tip brushes, and new sprue cutters.

I also found this at an antique market - a factory sealed AMT Mark Martin T-bird.

Do it! These are MUST HAVE items for building any reissue of the AMT '65 GTO.

Someone on Fakebook is selling 2,000 models, he is a bit disorganized, no list, so I have asked to see what else he has available, so he sent me a bunch of photos.

Since I saw a built model of this, *had to* get both, but they are exactly the same mold.

Recently saw a resin VR6 engine available, which would go great with this Corrado, especially since the engine block is missing (which I knew).  The builder had opened the driver door, and scribed in a sunroof but left the masking tape on!  I've never seen this kit, so *had to* get it.

I built the TR7 last century, think it's my first kit bash too. ?  Never have seen the TR8 before.  It's a very simple curbside, funny the box art example didn't have the vinyl roof and vents painted black.  Will be on the hunt for a V8 car to marry with.

My order of coronavirus came arrived today from Hong Kong.

? That Italeri G-Wagen has all kinds of possibilities. Like this loudspeaker vehicle used in Afghanistan.

Hobby Lobby for some paint and I bought this 10 well artists palette with a snap on cover at Michaels.

Used it yesterday after I thinned out some matte aluminum paint. Painted my parts and snapped the cover on it. I checked the parts I painted this AM and saw that I missed a few spots. Took the cover off and the paint had not dried out. Stirred it and was able to touch up the parts without any problems.

A little over a dollar after a 40% coupon.

Sweet score! Looks like a pristine version of the one I found filthy, broken, and scuffed in a flea market a couple years ago, and successfully rescued. B)

Revell VM, same show - missed the previous release, open/complete and who knows if/when it will be re-released
