It is, ok not on the road but so unique that I couldn't resist posting a picture. It was really an experience to see it live. The gallerist told me it was insured up to 70 million dollars. 1 1

PatW Posted May 19 Posted May 19 The BMW M1 was painted by a top surrealist artist Andy Warhol upwards of 40 years ago
A modeler named mike Posted May 20 Posted May 20 A few days ago I caught this truck coming out of a local restaurant. Must have been a show earlier that day. I didn't get pictures of but also saw a White 56 T-bird, a red '32 Ford coupe with a flame job, and an older ('50's) maroon Porsche convertible. 3

Zen Posted May 22 Posted May 22 A GTO! Could never figure out why they made the rear wheel well so small on these cars.

A modeler named mike Posted May 24 Posted May 24 (edited) Today was The Mayhem Truck and car show in Westminster Md. I pedaled old Yeller up to see what was on display. A lot of slammed pickups and some vintage street muscle and even a few odd ball vehicles. I won't bombard you all with everything there, but here's a few worth passing on. A modeler named mike Posted May 24 Posted May 24 And then there was this VW bug. The owner said it was a concept build from HOT VW magazine in the 80's and had been a show vehicle until he bought it for his wife. 2 1

The Junkman Posted May 24 Posted May 24 A 1969 Olds Cutlass S, white with gold highlights. Overall condition was fair, a few dents around the periphery. Not a Hurst Olds but moving in that direction.
oldcarfan Posted May 25 Posted May 25 This morning I came out of the store to find my car had made friends with two more of it's twins. A little later I got passed by an old-school Volvo doing un-Volvo stuff. It was driving around 85 and I barely got a pic before it was on the horizon. Looked nice, no rust and shiny paint. From the exhaust sound it sounded like it might have had a V-8 transplant. Finally, I passed this guy on the way home, another ex-Forest Service truck earning a living doing construction work. I started a thread a while ago because our town has more than it's fair share of these trucks. Seems one of the used car dealers bought a bunch of them at auction. I'd love to have one as I love that color.
