yellowsportwagon
This is a Johan 68 Caddy convertible with a 67 Impala roof grafted on to it. The side windows are reworked to have a more formal shape to them. The color is 68 Caddy Silverpine Green. I switched the metallic in it to make it a Firemist. Added a few drops of green Zirillac pearl too. Lowered it 1/4 inch on kit wheels and tires.
iamsuperdan
Great idea, excellent execution. Looks like it could have come from factory that way.
StevenGuthmiller
Very nice Tim! Â I thought that you might like it brought to your attention that there is some sort of contaminant on the lens of whatever device you used to shoot your photos. At first I thought it was something in the paint, but it moved from the tulip panel, to the roof, to the hood, to floating above the windshield. Wm David Green
A superb looking car, great conversion and finish. You're work is prolific, and excellent.  So, that's a rare Johan kit I have to look for, on the plus side I already have the roof (still attached to the 67 Impala!). rickcaps55
Awesome build the color is right on the money GM should have done this with the 2 door models back in the day to tell the truth I hate 4 door cars up to 2005 I never owned one they were called grandpa cars when I was growing up.!!! growing up I had a 68 Cad 2 door for two years I got used it was 5 years old at the time I loved it it was all black one Chicago winter it was parked out in front of a bar I use to go to and it was hit by a Chicago snow plow totaled it it took almost a year to settle it.!
