That's the best advice I've heard in this entire thread!! :D

But personally, I would prefer one of these.

Work through all of them. Pretend you're hitting the hot buffet table at the Killarney Rose and have three or four of each. If necessary, go through the line a couple times.

They do have Corona. In a Irish bar?  hmmm. Guess it's spreading.

As some of you know, China doesn't want it referred to by that name since it possibly originated there.  Anyway, I wonder how this will affect model car shows over the next few months.

I've already heard of several shows being canceled already: Spring Thaw 7 in Utica, NY and Valleycon 30 in Chicopee, MA.  Both were originally scheduled for March 29th.

Folks, please keep the politics out of this discussion. I had to prune it a bit. The salient points have been touched upon.

My wife was at the grocery store today. It took an hour to get checked out. The store manager was directing traffic, and people were bagging their own groceries. Everyone was nice to one another. Maybe it's because we all live around here, and have at least seen each other before, but clearly not everyone is overreacting.

On a more model related front, we cancelled our meeting for Tuesday. I will miss seeing my friends, but we are sadly in the high risk group. We need to be extra cautious. We're also likely to see the same thing with car shows.

Be safe, be sensible, and listen to the scientist.

or maybe you don't need to eat out as often.

The way panic has set in, that might be the only choice , my wife and I ( both under 50) are more concerned with are we going to be able to buy food to feed our family then catching the virus, soooo many selfish people are hoarding everything.

Went to the doctor for my shot and her advice was for me with MS not to go anywhere unless I have to. If it gets really bad she will give me my shot in my car. I.get a T shot every 2 weeks.

In my geographical situation (Boise ID) I feel fairly safe.

Only one reported case of the virus.

but if necessary have a getaway available up north.

could stand to spend some time up there anyway.

unfortunately no way to work on models at the cabin.

Schools here are now closed for the next couple weeks as is the library my Sister and her Husband work for. Just not sure how my employer is going to handle things yet, but we got a “work at home” questioner through the company email though.

My club has a show (we hope) on March 28. At 77 years old with respiratory problems, I won't be attending.

Great call, be safe!! My Dad was asthmatic and it is nothing to take lightly.

Any update on NNL Milwaukee? Seems to still be on, but...

My car club back in CA has canceled events as well; the membership skews older so they're being careful of course. The LMMCC banquet on the 21st is still on as far as I know - will post a heads-up if that changes.

NNL Philadelphia  has been canceled.

I'm glad I checked out this thread! I didn't know that and I was planning on going. :(

I'm wondering now about NNL East for next month? Anyone know what's happening with that? Tom?

BTW, I just found out that ALL schools are closed here in PA for the next two weeks. I know on my job the machine I run is effectively shut down, as the material it uses comes from China and we can't get it due to the factory over there running at only 50% of the employees working.

This is getting VERY interesting!

Everything in my area has shut down , went out to eat with friends last night to a place usually crowded on Friday night , there were 4 tables out of 50 occupied . Looks like we're all going to have more time to model . (silver lining alert)
