SawgrassRaven Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 I'm going to call this one done. Because I built it inside the glass case, it's terribly difficult to photograph. It looks better in person, especially with the lights on. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking. 5
Watertown Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Stunning!! Very convincing. Love all of the little details; empty clothes line stand, climbing vines pushing away old lap siding, fuse box that no longer closes properly, aged and distressed roof shingles, and a rusty cross-cut saw. Fantastic!! Beautiful work.
Bainford Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Incredible details, especially all the little extras that fill the scene. Love the textures, weathering, and finishes. Excellent work
Zippi Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 That looks so real. You get a hint of it being a fast Moonshine runner with the exhaust sticking out just below the running board on the passengers side. I really like the whole setup.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Looks Amazing! I watched this one come together. Very realistic and very detailed! Excellent work!!
TonyK Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 This is great! Perfect! You need to take some pictures outside and I'll bet it will look even more real....if that's possible.
David G. Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Fantastic detail and composition! Photographed in black and white or sepia tone, it could pass for 1:1. Nicely done! David G.
Dominik Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 perfrect. i dont know, why this 1940 ford is "the" moonshiners car. I'm building that kind of diorama also (looooong time in progress), but in the deep wood ? yours give me insperation for the brewerie
christian-w Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 I like the scene a lot. The 40s Ford is my favorite 40s car. I love it
iBorg Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 I rarely look at dioramas. I'm glad I did this one. Its a beauty!
Michael F Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Very cool build !! Reminds me on the early days of stockcar racing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71D_NUNgQgM
