Can-Con
Picked these up at the Moncton N'B' club's swap meet last weekend. It's the only swap meet of it's kind in my area and I feel pretty lucky to snag these. The '65 Olds and Chrysler were high on my "wants" list. Complete and in good shape. The '68 Chrysler and the Impala are also nice catches.

Steve Yea, I've been having a pretty lucky Fall so far. Between these and the '64 I got from you, I'll have no shortage of interesting cars to work on this winter. ? BTW, I already have the bumpers from the '64 and the two '65s I got this week stripped and nearly ready for replating. Just have to drill out the molded in headlights and they're ready to send out. I have the Mansory AMG, the fantasy R33 GT-R 4 Door, and 4 Door 2010 WRX STi conversion (that's now sold by DioLex since Dima & Misha separated). All of it is very nice stuff, if I were to complain it would be the B pillar on the R33 didn't survive the trip, but it's a quick fix to reattach it. stavanzer
Went to Michaels. First time in over a year. HL has been getting $40.00 a month Model Money for that long. Anyway, Michaels is Blowing out the Revell 1983 Hurst Olds kits for 18.00 each. With the 40% coupon, I got 10.00 change back from a Twenty!! I mat get another one. As an Aside, the Model area was a complete shambles. Kits scattered in clumps and stacks. Lots of empty space. But some kits that I have not seen at HL, in ages. ECTO , Christine Plymouth, Both the Orange and Green AMT 1970 1/2 Camaro kits. I may have to swing by and check there more often.

stavanzer
So, after hitting Michaels, I finally made it to HL. No 1960 Chevy Pick up, ( I hope thet re-stock that one someday) but I DID find the Revell 1985 Olds 442/FE3-X kit. So my day ended with a Revell G-Body shopping Spree. Now to get the Revell '86 Monte Carlo kit.

ChrisBcritter
Hokey smoke, Bullwinkle! For once there wasn't a feeding frenzy at the end: Just need to scratchbuild a hood ornament (Steven G, do you have a closeup photo?) and hit the doors with Goo Gone. I had a Pace Car convertible promo when I was a kid but I like hardtops better. Does anyone repop the Driver Education door stickers? Tom Geiger
The very few things I bought at the Liars show yesterday. A Revell Model A woody for $10, two sad old Model Ts in a baggie for $5 and a prewired distributor for my Blue Beetle resto project. I spent a total of 20. I had plenty of money in my pocket but just didn’t see anything I really needed. Edited November 11, 2019 by Tom Geiger
