What options come in the Little Tee ?

To bad it's photobucket. Using photobucket, the image doesn't show up here.

Another fun one for my collection. By the way, does anybody know what year this Model T represents? I believe the kit is based on the old Monogram "Little T", if I remember correctly. It looks like a very nice kit.

1/25 AMT '62 Pontiac Catalina Polyglas Gasser II
unclescott58 replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Gasser. Or what ever. I may have to buy one of these. I build the customized version several years ago. I'd like to now build a stock one. And I love the box art. -
Very, very nice. But, I plan on building mine "box stock". In other words, modified. Though your stock version sure looks great.

P.M. me and let me know what you for it. Thanks.

Revell Olds Cutlass 442/ FE3-X kit review
unclescott58 replied to GMP440's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Another fine review by hpiguy, Chris. I'm a bit surprised he didn't put a link to this video here himself. GMP440 you beat him to it. Chris' reviews are all pretty good. I watch all of his videos dealing with models, cars or other, on YouTube. -
A question? Why would one want the AMT kit of this car, rather than the Revell/Monogram version? The Revell/Monogram version is so much better. And, at this time at least, readily available.

That would be great. Please let me know when you find out for sure. Since the Switchers '32 grille shell is exactly the same, I'd be happy with one of those instead. After its painted, I don't care if it came from another '32 sedan delivery kit, or Switchers kit. They both would work fine.

Yes I do. Great kitsch. Though I probably would not build the kit that way. -
Sad to say not everything is perfect with this. Did a very thorough inventory of the kit part, and found it is missing one thing. And one thing only. Part #12. One of the parts that makes a '32 Ford, a '32 Ford. Part 12 is the grille shell, that holds grille on side, and radiator on the other. I will be contacting the seller to if he may have the part. But, I have my doubts on that. So I maybe needing some help from one of you guys in obtaining the part.

Thank you for the link on the trailer. But, it still doesn't answer my basic question. Was the Cobra Race Team released in past, and if so, what trailer did it come with? The other thread on the trailer indicates that the new release may have the right trailer with it. But, does it? Again, it doesn't match up with what was offered with similar combination kits, other than the Piranha Drag Team.

So many of these Hubley kits I'd love to have today. They were curbsides. All looked pretty good. I was able to pick a Mercedes 300-SL convertible a couple of years ago. And I would love to get my hands on their '60 and '61 Ford wagons and sedans. Plus the Silver Cloud, a Metropolitan (convertible and hardtop), a TR-3 convertible, and even the Renault Dauphine. I guess I basically would be pretty much happy with one of each! -
Wasn't the 352 also FE motor. And looked the same as the 390, 406, and 427? And how different is the 428? I thought they were also part of the FE family, and looked the part?

I've been hunting to see what the past releases of this kit looked like on line. I can find nothing on them. Is this a true reissue? Or is it something new? One thing that goes against the grain, if this was issued in the past, is the choice of the trailer. Other than the Piranha Drag Team, all other two vehicles and trailer combination sets came the old AMT service trailer. The Piranha Drag Team did come with the same trailer as the Fireball 500 kit. But, this the only time I've seen that trailer with another kit. All the others had the service trailer. So what's the deal with this kit? Why can I find no information on past releases of it? And if it was issued in the past? What trailer did it come with?

Vintage Revell Parts Packs -complete set
unclescott58 replied to Rocking Rodney Rat's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Here's an idea I'd like to see implemented by Revell. How about doing like Ertl and Model King has done in the past, and sell us all of the old parts packs in one box? Engines, bodies, chassis, wheels, etc., all in one box. So one can maybe build one or two complete kits from the contents. It's worked to get me to buy the AMT ones in the past. It would work to get me to buy the Revell ones now. -
It arrived in today's mail. It looks complete and in perfect shape. More close up photos will be posted here later tonight.
