  1. Thank you for the link on the trailer. But, it still doesn't answer my basic question. Was the Cobra Race Team released in past, and if so, what trailer did it come with? The other thread on the trailer indicates that the new release may have the right trailer with it. But, does it? Again, it doesn't match up with what was offered with similar combination kits, other than the Piranha Drag Team.
  2. So many of these Hubley kits I'd love to have today. They were curbsides. All looked pretty good. I was able to pick a Mercedes 300-SL convertible a couple of years ago. And I would love to get my hands on their '60 and '61 Ford wagons and sedans. Plus the Silver Cloud, a Metropolitan (convertible and hardtop), a TR-3 convertible, and even the Renault Dauphine. I guess I basically would be pretty much happy with one of each!
  3. Was that a '32 or a '33? I always thought it was a '32?
  4. Wasn't the 352 also FE motor. And looked the same as the 390, 406, and 427? And how different is the 428? I thought they were also part of the FE family, and looked the part?
  5. I've been hunting to see what the past releases of this kit looked like on line. I can find nothing on them. Is this a true reissue? Or is it something new? One thing that goes against the grain, if this was issued in the past, is the choice of the trailer. Other than the Piranha Drag Team, all other two vehicles and trailer combination sets came the old AMT service trailer. The Piranha Drag Team did come with the same trailer as the Fireball 500 kit. But, this the only time I've seen that trailer with another kit. All the others had the service trailer. So what's the deal with this kit? Why can I find no information on past releases of it? And if it was issued in the past? What trailer did it come with?
  6. Here's an idea I'd like to see implemented by Revell. How about doing like Ertl and Model King has done in the past, and sell us all of the old parts packs in one box? Engines, bodies, chassis, wheels, etc., all in one box. So one can maybe build one or two complete kits from the contents. It's worked to get me to buy the AMT ones in the past. It would work to get me to buy the Revell ones now.
  7. Clear and Dark Blue.
  8. It arrived in today's mail. It looks complete and in perfect shape. More close up photos will be posted here later tonight.
  9. Got one of my "holy grail" kits in the mail today.
  10. I've never had a lot of interest in this kit. Some, but not a lot. Between the old style box art, and the trail bike, I may pick this one up. The only thing I don't like is that it will molded in black plastic. I'll need Tamiya white prime if I want to build it in any other color.
  11. The above is another one I'd like to buy and build. I like just about anything power by a Corvair motor.
  12. Thanks for posting this review, Ray. I love the idea of this kit, but. Like others here, I already have enough of everything in this box. Even though I will not be buying this one, I hope it sells well for Round 2. I like it. Good stuff inside that box.
  13. Got my Switchers T yesterday in the mail. I really like what I found inside the box. It's a very nice kit. And inspired me to order the Monogram 1/24 scale T roadster for my collection.
  14. Very kool. I like it.
  15. This was waiting for me when I got home today.
  16. The above is the '66 T-bird I wish they would reissue. I like the Town Coupe roof much better than the Landau version included with the convertible kit. Blind rear quarters like the Landau, but no Landau "S" bars or vinyl roof. Obviously the molds still exist. I wonder what it would take to get Round 2 to reissue the kit?
  17. That is so bad! It's good. ?
  18. Can we see more of this model? And even though I prefer girls, I can not tell by the one picture, if the officer above is handsome or not?
  19. Your right. It's a curse. I can not help myself. I think it's the diet Mountain Dew that's making me do it.
  20. Im too busy building to read an article on what you drink says about you. That, and reading other things like these threads. So I'm afraid my unbuilt kits will be staying with me.
  21. Didn't read the article. What does it say about those who do not consume alcoholic beverages? The hardest thing I drink now days is diet Mountain Dew.
  22. No fair Tim. Are there still plans to do the "kit" you know something about, and we don't? And if so, can you give us a hint?
  23. I got mine in the mail today. I've already started with the beginning subassemblies. I can see that this is going to be a fun kit to build. I'm glad I got it.
