  1. I've never had a lot of interest in this kit. Some, but not a lot. Between the old style box art, and the trail bike, I may pick this one up. The only thing I don't like is that it will molded in black plastic. I'll need Tamiya white prime if I want to build it in any other color.
  2. The above is another one I'd like to buy and build. I like just about anything power by a Corvair motor.
  3. Thanks for posting this review, Ray. I love the idea of this kit, but. Like others here, I already have enough of everything in this box. Even though I will not be buying this one, I hope it sells well for Round 2. I like it. Good stuff inside that box.
  4. Got my Switchers T yesterday in the mail. I really like what I found inside the box. It's a very nice kit. And inspired me to order the Monogram 1/24 scale T roadster for my collection.
  5. Very kool. I like it.
  6. This was waiting for me when I got home today.
  7. The above is the '66 T-bird I wish they would reissue. I like the Town Coupe roof much better than the Landau version included with the convertible kit. Blind rear quarters like the Landau, but no Landau "S" bars or vinyl roof. Obviously the molds still exist. I wonder what it would take to get Round 2 to reissue the kit?
  8. That is so bad! It's good. ?
  9. Can we see more of this model? And even though I prefer girls, I can not tell by the one picture, if the officer above is handsome or not?
  10. Your right. It's a curse. I can not help myself. I think it's the diet Mountain Dew that's making me do it.
  11. Im too busy building to read an article on what you drink says about you. That, and reading other things like these threads. So I'm afraid my unbuilt kits will be staying with me.
  12. Didn't read the article. What does it say about those who do not consume alcoholic beverages? The hardest thing I drink now days is diet Mountain Dew.
  13. No fair Tim. Are there still plans to do the "kit" you know something about, and we don't? And if so, can you give us a hint?
  14. I got mine in the mail today. I've already started with the beginning subassemblies. I can see that this is going to be a fun kit to build. I'm glad I got it.
  15. Whoa! I just went over to eBay to see what Fujimi's 1/24 scale 356s sell for. Too rich for my blood. I'm sure Revell could sell one at a much lower cost.

    VW Race

    Very cool! I like it.
  17. Enough with the vans guys. I want to see weird kits, like the title of this thread says. Like Ken posted above, showing us the Pyro Surfs Up bicycle and trailer. The vans maybe weird. But, they are not scale kits. (As far as I know). By the way, I must be getting old. Because the girl from the kit that Ken showed doesn't look too bad to me. Is there any chance of seeing more of this kit? I've heard rumors that some of Pyro's larger scale kits weren't too bad.
  18. Fujimi makes a 356 in 1/24 scale? I believe you James. But, I've never seen one as far as can remember. Now, I'm not a big fan of the 356. So I've never gone looking for one. But, if I saw it on the shelf of hobby store someplace, I might be willing to buy one. This is were Revell has a big advantage over Fujimi. I'm more likely to see a Revell kit (or RoG kit) in this country, than one put out by Fujimi. Either way, Revell or Fujimi, I am less likely to buy something in 1/16 scale than if were in 1/24 or 1/25.
  19. Wow! A lot of decals. What was the deal on this. Did he repop these decal in the past? Or what?
  20. I'd love to see the old Monogram one come back.
  21. Another beauty Jim.
