  1. Got another of this one. I really like this kit.
  2. I'll be interested in learning more about this one.
  3. Here are a couple more photos. One showing modifications (paint) to make the taillights stand out more. I don't know if it helped all that much?
  4. I love the wheels and other small details over the later ones.
  5. Interesting, despite my comments above, about two or three month's ago I bought a copy of Revell's '58. I really can't say it's any better or worst than AMT's Impala. I like them both. I just lean towards the AMT a little more because of nostalgia.
  6. Another lovely one.
  7. I want this one. Very cool!
  8. Yea. The taillights are a bit of a problem with this kit. They're molded into the rear fenders, and there are no decals. My plans are to go over them with a Molotow chrome pen. Then a little Testor's stoplight red.
  9. Here is MPC's 1940 Ford Fire Chief snap kit. Built as close to stock as one can with what comes in the box. I did not the Fire Chief version. So I filled and sanded all the holes and mounts for the Fire Chief equipment. I also left off the lake pipes. I painted it Tamiya Italian Red. Over all, I like the way it turned out. This is number two of four in my 1/25 scale '40 Ford coupe kits. A week or two ago I showed you the finished build of the Lindberg version. With in the next month or two, I will be finishing AMT's '40 coupe. Followed be Revell's a little bit later. So far, I like the AMT kit the best. Despite not being finished with or the Revell kit yet.
  10. Here you go.
  11. Your icon picture say otherwise. ? Though I have to be careful not to throw stones. I'm 59 and do look worst than that package. Of course I did 55 years ago too.
  12. Who is the boss? I don't get this.
  13. Yea, to you too. And everybody else out there.
  14. I've used Model Roundup several times, and have always received what I wanted, with very go service. One of the good ones out there.
  15. The above is still a good looking car to me. I miss the full-frame rear wheel drive cars built up through the 80's. The front wheel drive, modern unibody cars are the best cars ever. But, they have no style or soul.
  16. I still haven't opened up the kit yet. I'll try to get at it by this weekend. And I will post photos of the decal sheet for you.
  17. This too, above, is what I'd rather have that the ZZ Top or the Thom Taylor versions. I like having the choice to build it the way I want to. And a lot of times I want to build it stock. Revell/Monogram would sell me a lot more kits if they offered me options like the old AMT 3-in-1 kits. Heck, there are times I want to build all three versions. And guess what? Sometimes I have. Requiring at least three copies of one kit.
  18. Very kool. I like it.
  19. Fun. I love that old school stuff.
  20. Nice.
  21. Me too. And I've been awfully good this year besides.
  22. Hey, I like the GMC L'Universelle.
  23. Just ordered the latest Revell '64 Fairlane Thunderbolt reissue. Not the best art work on that one either. As far the '76 Torino kit goes. Despite the wrong exhaust setup, I like the kit. I'd like to see more more mid to late 70's kits. But, I think this been mentioned many times before. In fact, maybe too many many times.
  24. Very nice restoration.
