  1. Stunning. What a beauty!
  2. Love it! Worth the extra time it required, I’d say. You don’t see a whole lot of these built, especially any that go beyond a box-stock paint scheme and detail. Nice paint design and detail upgrades. Blacked-out wheels are a fine touch, too.
  3. Love the twin turbos on the 8v92. What a sound that would make!
  4. Nice. The paint scheme reminds me of the Horseless Carraige trucks. Dodge Brothers is interesting, too.
  5. Oh I watched that a couple days ago. Maybe yesterday. Thought about posting it here. Good video.
  6. I’d be willing to send you the Revell dash if it would help having it in-person.
  7. How about a correct dash for the Revell K100 Aerodyne?
  8. Paint scheme shows off the double bunk really well.
  9. Not bad at all for 50 years old. Be sure to show some post-rehab photos. The canvas cover is a nice addition. I agree, it’s too bad there’s not much else available in fire apparatus models.
  10. A rare one, indeed. Great to see a DR cabover!
  11. Nice. Something GM should have offered from the factory.
  12. Another great addition to the fleet. She’ll provide good service for the company.
  13. Every time I see a great build up of the Can-Do, makes me wish more and more for them to re-issue it!
  14. That metallic green is nice. The Detroit will really sing with those pipes!
  15. Perfect kit for a 24 hour build. Not too simple, not too difficult. They give you a great result.
  16. I think the idea of having parts to update the outdated engines is a fantastic idea. Many kits have an engine that’s too old for the truck, but with some modification, they can be made accurate. For example, the Cummins NTA 370 in the T600A could, and should, be updated to an N14. I think the parts would be fairly easy to print. There’s a great Car Modeller article by Ken Smith on the update: https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm21_sept_1993_conv/ The Italeri “wanna-be” N14 (Aeromax, FLD 120, LTL 9000) should also be corrected in a very similar manner to the AMT NTA 370. As it was said, updated aftercoolers for each of the Cummins 855 series (Big Cam I, II, III, IV) and Cat 3406 series (3406b) would also be a great idea. The Cat engines could use an accurate Jacket Water Aftercooler (JWAC). It would allow us to more easily model a specific engine in each series that’s accurate for the year of the truck we’re building. One last thing, for the modern resin engines out there, like Moluminum’s 3406E and C15 (and if you make the updated parts for turning the AMT and Italeri Cummins into an N14), we need a proper Charge Air Cooler (Air to Air Aftercooler). Even the 3406b engine started getting an Air to Air Aftercooler added starting about 1985/86 replacing the JWAC system. The 3406c had the ATA aftercooler, too. No one, to my knowledge, has made an accurate ATA/Charge Air Cooler, in resin or 3d. Italeri made a half-hearted attempt with their Series 60, and I used it as a base when I scratch built this one for my 3406E that’s currently on the bench. I modeled it after an aftermarket CAC by Dura-Lite. Thanks!!!
  17. Extremely realistic textures, colors, and sheen. I swear the best backdrops are like this one - utilizing the “mundane” features of our everyday world. A background, that by itself, most people wouldn’t photograph unless there was an object, like a car, you wanted to take a picture of, say, as you pass by it. A simple, mostly featureless (until you give it a second look) urban landscape. A perfect approach!
  18. Very slick. I like the paint colors, exhaust, and the sleeper swap.
  19. Fantastic! Some of the most realistic figures I’ve seen.
  20. I’d love to see the aftermarket bring us some goodies for the k3500. The front driveline, suspension, and the proper tow mirrors and fender flares.
  21. Neat build. The Keystone body looks like it builds up well. You’ve done a beautiful job with it. Great idea on skinning it with thin sheet. I have one of these bodies myself. Glad I got it when I did. One thing I’ve learned is grab the aftermarket stuff when it’s available.
  22. That’s an interesting purpose-built vehicle, for sure. An incredibly unique model. I like the “Tawas” markings. Going for a Lake Huron vibe? Makes it even more unique and cool.
  23. Thanks for posting this information.
  24. Love how so much of the snow weathering on the truck is an incredibly realistic grayish mix.
