  1. Great build!
  2. Opening doors tend to be tricky, either you are good and you just don't know out, or you were lucky! Great build tho
  3. Great build, and fantastic photo shoot

  11. fantastic build, thanks for sharing your pain on this journey!
  12. Thanks Sonny! Novous is a polishing system - I used to use Tamiya, but I really don't get along with the crappy tubes, I prefer these bottles
  13. I like it, Civics are a soft spot for me, as I used to have one (slightly newer 2005 plate car) but your build is great. I have the same issue of paint nt adhering t a glossy finish, but if you use the same type of paints as the gloss, it shouldn't happen - or, as you suggest - roughen it up with some sand paper...
  14. Yes! F40, 959, vector w8, then the w12... Also zr1's... Those were the days
  15. Looks like someone should be getting commission from future Aoshima countach sales!
  16. All good hobby stores, like hiroboy have seats available! Looks like it's going to be a killer

  18. Classic poster car in my youth, love your build!
  19. Great build here!
  20. Now that I've moved in and settled - and got ready for Christmas! got some time at the bench. I tried to paint the interior with enamel satin cream, but it came out really lumpy. so I've had to sand it down, and mask for spraying it. Now looking at the body, there are strnage blemishes in the paint. i'm hoping they go away when I do the wax and shine layer of the Novous polishing system. If not, then they are minor, i'm not looking for perfection...
  21. I've also hand painted the interior silver - using tamiya X-11 the hood vent cowels are clear, but have an ejector pin in the middle of them, which is going to be a pain to remove, and it will not be so clear after, but i'm still going to get rid of the mark... now there's a little detailing left prior to final assembly Chroming of the fogs painting of the lights - these were done with tamiya clears
  22. thanks James! I thought had put on light coats... but lesson was learnt! the finish is a little rough... see pic. but I hadn't put enough layers down to sand... so I've polished out ith novous polish 3, 2 & 1, it's not super smooth, but it'll look great in the finished cabinet:
  23. Looking good, it'd be a shocker to get this done by year end!
  24. C'est fantastique!
