That's painful, but in my experience, part of the hobby. In fact, it's the reason why a lot of people focus on the body shell first...

Got a whole process going on! I have NEVER managed to scribe with a blade without scribing where I don't want to, then it's fill and sand - & I end up loosing detail, not adding... maybe you have the light touch...

Thank's Pat & Dann! I've just got flocking to do now...! Interior is coming along nicely, but slowly. The scratchbuilt door cards needed several rounds of filling and sanding, as did the front seats. The tub needed lots of masking too, so it's taken a lot of time. I've got as far as a test of flocking, and now today I'll be flocking the rest of it - if I get given the time from the boss. The door cards could be a lot better, but it would take forever to get them right... and flocking is another one of my nemesis, it never turns out right for me...

Hey Dann, great build so far, and always love the extra details you put in! What are you using to etch? Are you using a recipricating rool, a vibrating tool, or manually with a blade?

I scrubbed it off to attach skirts! Thanks for the compliment on the silver...!

It feels like such a bad thing to do - but I left the skirts until after the painting - as I wanted to put a bit of PE mesh in the gap it's been scrapped ready for attachment of the skirts...

Soooo much work o nthis over the last month, but not much to show. One small detail - the badge - the decal will not work on the PE mesh, so I made a little "S"for it...
