  1. I have the papa truck hauler bed stashed if ya need let me know Cobra hauler sounds like a great project
  2. Just waiting for better temps to start color, I've decided to build a spray booth while I wait. Fumes and over spray linger in hobby room w window cracked , need a safer way to spray indoors . My health isnt the only one effected now I'll post pics soon
  3. Good catch jim gary only uses email for ordering..typo topic corrected
  4. Gary just finished the Rockwell 6 arm rear suspension commonly seen on the autocar dump truck. Just in time with the recent reissue news of the tractor !! Can u say heavy duty haulers...here's a pic !! Figure I'd pass the word
  5. Looks great Tons of possibilities with the curbmaster
  6. Exactly right , people want the suv/ trucks and the factories pump them out . My employer is a HUGE manufacturer of timing systems for most of the automotive industry. .most not all ..and we're always informed how important truck sales are . The big announcement we were excited to hear is Ford hinted about the return of the full size Bronco..I can't wait to see one first hand knowing if the Coyote 5.0 is inside...my company and coworkers produced the chain and timing components inside. Now that gas mileage has increased into the mid 20s..except the beloved Tundra....people can enjoy those trucks and suv's without the pain at the pump.
  7. Yup excellent service great products and a great fella to boot !
  8. Happy birthday dr kerry !!!! Have a great day. .well night now lol
  9. I'd bought the ram ram..but they've always had tranny problems and the front suspensions go thru ball joint/ tie rods like tundra thru gas ...
  10. Sold my 2011 tundra..loved that truck as much as it loved burning gas...2017 f150 with the coyote v8 came home in its place..24 mpg doesn't hurt either. Course the toyota was geared to work hard the ford geared for mileage..jeesh can't even drop a tool box or rocks in the bed lol
  11. I believe the challenge is a 10 yard barrel . The chain drive was common now they use a hydraulic gear box to rotate the barrel. The rex 770 or mtm mcneilus comes to mind . Nice mixer right there
  12. Jerry sells the decals too..
  13. Dave at aitm casts and sells the challenge mixer currently
  14. No offense taken Gator thanks for looking in
  15. It would look great parked next to my old Autocar you turned into a gem ! Thanks Gator
  16. Awesome work !! Love the work boots and scratched up torch tanks . Well done
  17. How'd I miss this ? That's fantastic work and every detail shows. Trumpeter as of lately has really brought out very detailed kits that seem to fly of the shelves . Thanks for posting this
  18. Awesome build looks perfect and mean in black
  19. Thanks all ! I appreciate all the feedback. KJ let me know the wrecker cab is actually a set back E model, and the kit is a forward axle...I won't be hacking into the frame at this point . Artistic license card pulled for now .
  20. How about another update ? Too soon ??okay I'll wait.... The am parts arrived today, so the cab started getting the treatment. First off is a new fantastic 3d printed grill from double take.. Next to the kit offering ..I won't mention how uninspiring the chrome lump compares to the 3d printed one.. I marked up the spots I wanted to address, mainly the switch to oblong lights, lowering the right vent , and removal of the vertical riveted strip . The KW I'm working on has a horizontal rivet strip running under doors to grill . The vent is just lower closer to light bezel. progress moved along fairly quickly one side cleaned up and the lower cab panels were glued in. The new riveted panel will run nearly over the offending seam. I'll replace the lost rivets w resin ones from archer..the simplest way I've found . They attach like a decal, and look perfect under paint imo. More to come
