  5. I was really looking forward to the show this year, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate
  6. Outstanding paint work Jeff ! Your K123 really turned out realistic, kudos to the chrome fenders too and visor
  7. Fantastic job, the load is exceptional
  8. PE is aftermarket set. I feel like I'm eating an elephant, but slow wins the race lol The bus I'm planning will be an ealry 90s dog nose ( conventional hood). His school used mostly Thomas buses, and had between 11 and 13 windows. That ends up being a fairly long bus. Heres a pretty good example nmp. The hood is from Plaskit, and I'm planning on using 5 hole budds w 22.5 wheels...and a ton of seats lol hope you'll ride along
  9. Fantastic work, really like the short race look..and it has a killer engine!
  10. Thats disgusting how the usps treated your shipment. Ive received boxes of mid flaps completely ripped open..are gorillas handling our mail now
  11. Now thats an engine swap ! !!! Gorgeous paint work on your 4070
  12. Beautiful paint work
  13. Thanks trashing a build was fun ! The bench is currently being used as a drydock. I'm working on a 1/350 ship I've always wanted to try. Here's a peek One of the funnels after the etch details were added After this ship heads to sea trials, a very special build is planned. My late father in law drove school buses for a living, and im doing a replica of his bus using an IH 3800 dog nose hood from plaskit
  14. Looking good from here
  15. Great work on the lattice booms Your wrecker body is coming along well
  16. Those metal hood parts fit nice and tight !
  17. Thanks Mario ! this was a build I wanted to try for yrs and finally had inspiration to tackle it. Having a bunch of photos and scaled drawing of the tailgate helped Thanks Brian! My last Mack didn't get the grill treatment, and it always bugged me. Tossing in the trash really made the build fun and offered a chance to try a couple new skills Thanks Brian ! It's always tough intentionally ruining a decent paint job, but keeping it mild helps Thanks Bill ! Subtle but noticeable was effect I was after. Really funny when I posted this on a fb group, and a member commented that the colors were similar to their companies fleet..turns out it was my reference photo in real time. Guy chatted about the trucks history
  18. Nice work on your Duster , really like the slant 6
  19. Thanks everyone for their feedback
  20. Thanks Charles I kept thinking it needed more of a sloppy trash , but never found a combo that worked..settled on the slushie cups
  21. Beautiful work
  22. The build is finished w photos under glass Thank you to everyone who followed along and commented
  23. Officially calling this done, my scratchbuilt Leach garbage packer..and the R model Mack I only stretched the frame to accommodate the packer. I fabricated the 25 yd packer body using a bunch of photos, parts manual and scaled drawing my buddy Ryan shared. The body was built w evergreen materials, and nearly a bottle of Tamiya glue. The colors are krylon light gray. JD green, and regal red. I weathered everything w oils and powdered pastels for a used truck. The company name draws from local history, the 13th US president Millard Fillmore was born in Locke NY, and supposedly had the 1st bathtub in the White House. The garbage is handmade bags w yard waste, and slushie cups I made from clear straws and colored powder. The lids are googly eyes, and some plastic rod for straws. Thanks for looking Jeff
