  1. Update time !!! Sprayed a few detail colors on the truck once paint has plenty of drying time . The anti glare hood , and chute was airbrushed w flat black, then the blue DOT stripes sprayed across the blower engine compartment. The bank cutters also got a squirt of red primer. Looking at the chute photos I gotta add more black along the sides.. Enjoy!

Seeing your abilities to fabricate parts on your lowboy trailer, this will be another killer build The one big piece of construction equipment that was available aka Michigan loader was a huge model. Your right though , stuff like this would be incredible to have available, but very costly .

  6. Brian that looks ? really well done mixing the dusty frame w glossy exterior that owner takes pride in his fleet ! There's a local paving company fleet i see coming home from work, their trucks haul the nastiest oily blacktop, yet the trucks always look brand new .

  14. Good looking frame chop! Funny how a few years ago a chop like that would be taboo, now ots everyday common to achieve a correct look

  16. Lol I washed all the resin parts for mine , then the furry critters got me sidetracked painting a 59 impala..ridiculous squirrels Yes !!!!
  17. Thanks I forgot about micro mark they always have nice supplies . Thanks now the wknds almost here I'll have some time to putter w it . I've been making another one for a plow chaser in Cali. started the second set of augers ..much easier this time around . He mentioned casting the parts to go with his plows / sanders

  19. Hahahha yeah I ordered some very small oval link necklace chain from hobby lobby and combined with the round for cross bars figure ill try to fab a suitable set..well see
  20. Brian's right on about pvc tanks ,.swing by hardware store and ask if they have any scraps left around usually they give em away less than say 6 inch pieces Try both sizes he suggested and see what visually looks best
