  1. I use sanding sticks starting with the medium ranges and working my way through the finer ranges. I used the same trick on my Monogram 69 Camaro a few years back and they came out alright.
  2. The rear part of the chassis is about 70% finished now. Still have to install the rear sway bar, shock mounts and shocks but we're getting there. I had to take a break in the progress and narrow the rear end and arch the springs just a tad to achieve the stance I was looking for in the rear. I merely cut off the axle ends, shaved each end of the axle back about 3/16" , drilled holes in the axle and in the axle mounting ends and pinned them back to the axle. I've already done a test run and the wheel/ tire assemblies are right where I want em now.
  3. Nice!!! I'm right there with you on the Freightliner headlights. I'm REALLY surprised that there hasn't been a resin "corrected" cab released to address the OTHER problems that exist with that cab in addition to the headlight positioning.
  4. Great to have you along good friend Jeremy!! I really appreciate the comments. Brutha Carl!!! Keith was right ...from the latest Revell El Camino kit. I tried the ones from a spare BM Camaro kit that I had but wanted a different look to them since I'll be using the BM Cragars on the BM Camaro. Right you are Keith and you're right again on the lower stance. Love it on these cars.
  5. Lookin' good so far. I've considered purchasing this kit as I've got a good friend of mine that's got a 1:1 version and I'd like to build it for him. Will be watching this beauty come together.
  6. I've now got the wheels and tires selected for the Z-28 build. The rear tires will have those big ass GOODYEAR scripts shaved off and some BF Goodrich T/A ones will take their place. This'll be the stance/ look that I'll be going for.
  7. Thanks Anton!! 'preciate you taggin' alog Craig! Thanks for joinin' in Keith. I can't wait to see how I tackle that issue as well. I've got a couple of things in mind.....we'll see. lol
  8. Man this is lookin' great so far Dave!! Had some stuff come up at home so I haven't been in here in a couple of days and have I been missing out. Fantastic work so far brother.
  9. Thanks Phillipe. It took some fancy foot work to correct the front end and to get the front tires back inside the wheel opening where they belonged.
  10. Dude.....you really know how to make these scale beauties of yours life like. Super job on all.
  11. A beautiful job!! You really put alot of time into both of your Impalas.

  17. Good looking Vette bud.
  18. Sorry to hear about your Uncle Frances. Looking forward to your return when you are able to bud. Speed of execution doesn't do it justice.......hmmm....buddy.....continue to take your time and do your thing because you are doing nothing BUT justice to this truck. There are times I wished I could build faster but then again....I'm glad I don't. When you get this sucker done you're gonna be a happy man with a super great turn out. Not many of us here can do what you do with these things so keep on truckin' pal. You're doin' great!!!
  19. I'm not sure myself which manufacturer this is but I'd really like to know. One thing that IS catching my attention is the coupe style deluxe rear panel on this bad boy.
  20. Your photography sets an already well built model off very well Steven. Beautifully done man.
