  1. Isn't it the same car behind the blue one except with maybe another number on it? It's hard to tell from the picture.
  2. Assuming it was already red we will give you a pass. If you painted the red over blue then we will still look the other way since it was 34 years ago and nobody can remember back that far (until now). ?
  3. Flat out ripoff for just the body. The seller lists other parts from that kit which all together would add up to about $200 or more. If that is the competition I should have no problem selling the extra one I have for $100.
  4. Thanks. I ended up using the "66" Mustang chassis which you can see in the next to last picture that is the same as in the original Mach1 kit. I do not remember if the 68 Shelby Mustang kit chassis would work also but I'm sure with a few mods it would fit easily.
  5. Thanks for the reminder. I posted pictures Under Glass but not in this thread. So here is the finished project with another one I found at a model swap meet and the box I bought off Ebay. For the completed one I used the 68 Shelby big block since after all it is a Mach1 one. Since I do not have the original instruction sheet I'm guessing it came with the 260/289 engine from the 66 Mustang and that's the engine that is in the unpainted built up one pictured.
  6. 1/43 is often overlooked but I am a fan of the scale and subject matter. Nice start to the Lotus.
  7. I also bought one and it is on the 2020 project list. I have painted the body but decided to go with a metallic blue.
  8. Nice variety and well done.
  9. Amen to that,
  10. What everyone else said. Here's to a great 2020.
  11. Here are a few 1/43 scale. Funny thing is between Gary and I we have both scales of the same cars.
  12. Sorry I missed replying. They look great. I can post pictures if you like.
  13. Looks like t will be ready for the next years SEMA show. ?
  14. Yes and thanks. I'll be there and at Philly also.
  15. I had a nice visit with Gary today looking at his workshop. I brought a few 1/43 models, one Gulf and J Car and took pictures of just a fraction of Gary's excellent builds. Enjoy.
  16. Brad is a one man operation so he finds it very difficult to provide stock for other suppliers while keeping up with individual orders. Unless you are international it's pretty easy to order from him other than I think he only accept checks. Yes these days not having a website and electronic payment sux but since he probably will not be doing many shows outside Maryland anymore there aren't any other alternatives.
  17. Ah, race cars. They rarely looked the same from race to race much less nowadays compared to fifty years ago. Nice work.
  18. You will defeat the paint monsters. Keep up the good work.
  19. Revell convertible, two red Mach1s and two 73 fastbacks. Notable WIP are a mystic Cobra convertible, 72 sprint fastback, a 67 convertible, a 70 Mach1, 69 Boss 302, and a 65 GT350R to name a few. Of course there are various GT40's and maybe a Cobra or Pantera or two.
  20. That is a perfect turn to see how twitchey they are and how they throttle steer with ease. Going there is on my bucket list.
  21. I like your take on it and I'm sure the Duke boys would approve of the clean look. Bullitt Charger redo anyone?
  22. Nice truck and Mustang.
  23. Very well done and looking forward to your 2020 builds.
  24. If you search on the drivers name Martin Reynolds you will find more info. I saw the picture on Facebook and I am a big fan of any 71-73 Mustang, especially racing versions.
  25. No doubt this will be a work of art when completed.
