  1. I have several Mustangs and Cobras and Ford GT's, a few of which are greeen machines. Last time I counted I had over 2K 1/64 diecast cars.
  2. I think they are competing with Meum for volume even though BJ has the better cars overall. 1,000 vehicles is a lot to sell.
  3. I wonder what a nice Mark II sold for back then.?
  4. AFX and Brad discussing their collaboration.
  5. Not bad for the price ($50) given the alternatives are very expensive.
  6. Not sure Revell would be thrilled about that but there is an aftermarket one that has been around a long time was made for the Mach1 kit. However it is costly but it is the only one I have seen.
  7. Now who would try something as crazy as this. Oh, I would too. Here's one I started a long time ago.
  8. My advice is to only use the body and pitch the rest and buy a brand net kit for $10-$20. This kit has been reissued maybe a dozen times and some version have unique parts but overall any of the versions would suffice except I'd avoid the Reggie Jackson one because it is molded in green. Since you will have a spare body you can cut out the doors if you want to make them open. I would also sand off the Cobra emblems on the front and trunk. They are about twice the size they should be and you can use decals instead. I'm sure Cobraman wil chime in but that's my two cents.
  9. Too bad there isn't a Saleen kit for those years. You could always do the GT500 from the Will Smith I am Legend movie.
  10. I have a 73 Eleanor that I never got around to except for some coats of paint so count me in.
  11. Isn't it the same car behind the blue one except with maybe another number on it? It's hard to tell from the picture.
  12. Assuming it was already red we will give you a pass. If you painted the red over blue then we will still look the other way since it was 34 years ago and nobody can remember back that far (until now). ?
  13. Flat out ripoff for just the body. The seller lists other parts from that kit which all together would add up to about $200 or more. If that is the competition I should have no problem selling the extra one I have for $100.
  14. Thanks. I ended up using the "66" Mustang chassis which you can see in the next to last picture that is the same as in the original Mach1 kit. I do not remember if the 68 Shelby Mustang kit chassis would work also but I'm sure with a few mods it would fit easily.
  15. Thanks for the reminder. I posted pictures Under Glass but not in this thread. So here is the finished project with another one I found at a model swap meet and the box I bought off Ebay. For the completed one I used the 68 Shelby big block since after all it is a Mach1 one. Since I do not have the original instruction sheet I'm guessing it came with the 260/289 engine from the 66 Mustang and that's the engine that is in the unpainted built up one pictured.
  16. 1/43 is often overlooked but I am a fan of the scale and subject matter. Nice start to the Lotus.
  17. I also bought one and it is on the 2020 project list. I have painted the body but decided to go with a metallic blue.
  18. Nice variety and well done.
  19. Amen to that,
  20. What everyone else said. Here's to a great 2020.
  21. Here are a few 1/43 scale. Funny thing is between Gary and I we have both scales of the same cars.
  22. Sorry I missed replying. They look great. I can post pictures if you like.
  23. Looks like t will be ready for the next years SEMA show. ?
  24. Yes and thanks. I'll be there and at Philly also.
