  1. I had a nice visit with Gary today looking at his workshop. I brought a few 1/43 models, one Gulf and J Car and took pictures of just a fraction of Gary's excellent builds. Enjoy.
  2. Brad is a one man operation so he finds it very difficult to provide stock for other suppliers while keeping up with individual orders. Unless you are international it's pretty easy to order from him other than I think he only accept checks. Yes these days not having a website and electronic payment sux but since he probably will not be doing many shows outside Maryland anymore there aren't any other alternatives.
  3. Ah, race cars. They rarely looked the same from race to race much less nowadays compared to fifty years ago. Nice work.
  4. You will defeat the paint monsters. Keep up the good work.
  5. Revell convertible, two red Mach1s and two 73 fastbacks. Notable WIP are a mystic Cobra convertible, 72 sprint fastback, a 67 convertible, a 70 Mach1, 69 Boss 302, and a 65 GT350R to name a few. Of course there are various GT40's and maybe a Cobra or Pantera or two.
  6. That is a perfect turn to see how twitchey they are and how they throttle steer with ease. Going there is on my bucket list.
  7. I like your take on it and I'm sure the Duke boys would approve of the clean look. Bullitt Charger redo anyone?
  8. Nice truck and Mustang.
  9. Very well done and looking forward to your 2020 builds.
  10. If you search on the drivers name Martin Reynolds you will find more info. I saw the picture on Facebook and I am a big fan of any 71-73 Mustang, especially racing versions.
  11. No doubt this will be a work of art when completed.
  12. Fantastic group of models covering a variety of makes and models. Most of us looking at these wish we could do as many this nice.
  13. You can contact Harold @ HRM directly. He does not have a website or take Paypal.
  14. That is pretty cool.
  15. One to watch. Looks well thought out.
  16. I will be following as this will be an interesting project. The most famous 71-73 T/A was the one raced b Warren Tope.
  17. I agree the Maisto is pretty bad. I have not come across the Welly ones yet.
  18. Very nicely done mods. You've done your research and it has paid off. I stopped buying 1/18 models before the latest resin trend began and am surprised at how "basic" they are underneath. I am used to seeing 1/43 models like this but nothing this large.
  19. Very nicely done for a box stock build with few added touches. ?. The paint and Lemans stripes are superb.
  20. You might be disappointed. I've sold a few builtups for what I thought was good return given what I paid and what condition they were in. The value is directly related to how much an unbuilt kit is worth. I think it's the best of both in that you are not really devaluing an unbuilt kit and not worrying about lowering the value by building it. I find these older kits are usually pretty basic but the bodies end to be pretty accurate are lacking with respect chassis and engine realism. Assuming the old molds are gone forever the supply will always be low so until the demand drops these collector prices will continue high. In fifteen years it may be a different story with collections being sold more frequently.
  21. It is a neat kit and you can still find them once in a while for $40 and even less for the Testors ones.
  22. The metallic green isn't very dark but the British green is much darker.
  23. The guages look great. I have used them also but you need a good pair of scissors to cut them out.
  24. Welcome back. Very nice and great job of the conversion to RHD. If you don't mind please post pictures of the Mustang.
