  1. I don't have a clue about plumbing up a blown fuel motor, that's saved for the next altered model I'll make. Bill's diagram though looks good to me and that's what I'm using. Bill, just a question please: on the right of the diagram, where would the fuel valves be located? On the motor block up front, or the frame? I have no idea. Thanks Michael
  2. Excellent news! Joe, it's amazing to read how quick a house deal can move, really quick! Already thinking of packing, wow. In old Europe, things don't move as fast. Be thankful that all is well and that you can do as you choose, so quickly too. Good stuff! Before the move though, the Dodge is finished. That's an order! Michael
  3. Guys, there is a beautifully restored DS 19 in the neighborhood! I don't know if it belongs to visitors or not, I've seen it 3 times in the last week. It's kind of medium green, and appears to be flawless. If I see it this weekend, I'll get some pics up. Michael
  4. Now I see it. Man, that piece is great! Super finish, I'd like to try out this technique.
  5. Hi Bob, This is really nice work you're showing, and I admire you're styrene abilities. Body work and frame looking real good. I like the early Funny Cars. Michael
  6. Hi Joe, this car is looking right! Very cool. I don't envy you one bit concerning the body work. Looking forward to the way this evolves. Michael
  7. Hi Brad, I'm happy too you're back to this build. You were the one, with this project who really got me started with building my own front end and moving on down the modelling road. The wheels look real sharp and will be perfect for this hot race car. Good stuff! Michael
  8. The wheelie bar unit certainly looks frail, and perfect. Fantastic detailing and very cleanly executed, good that you have it behind you. Tim, I see the assembly took you off your frame jig, that thing is long. Will you attach it permanently at the very end of the build? Michael
  9. Cool photo! Hey, there's a big round hole in the side window. Do flames come out there too? Maybe in reverse? Just kidding. What an intricate, super build. Michael
  10. Mr. Wolfe and Norbert Lopez, those are very nice models! Michael
  11. "Going Commando"....lol. I used to like this car a lot. I was driving a 65 Valiant V100 to High School and couldn't wait until I was a Senior. Then I had the OK from Dad to put a V8 in the thing. Until then, Slantzilla ruled. Jason, this is looking real sweet. Cool car! Michael
  12. Yep. The neighbor I wrote about earlier on this thread, I remember the day he drove it home for the first time, brand new! I looked at my brother, he looked and me and we both thought he just lost his mind! LOL. His former cars were not as flashy, and a lot older! Steven, sharp looking interior. Michael
  13. Hi Bernard, I like the front engined dragsters too and you're off to a good start! Michael
  14. Hi Billy, This project is looking good, and it looks like it's ready to run. How did it run compared to the Funny Cars? Michael
  15. Joe, I'm really grinning now! Be proud! I have to say, this is a lot cooler than that old funky Dart. Good you got it behind you, this is better!, and just plain cool. I really like the process now. What symbolism. Getting out the big nasty saw and cutting away, getting it right like you want it, and moving on with full speed and determination. Excellent! Michael
  16. Tyrone, this build is just wicked! Question: What's with the webbing around the wheelie bar setup? What is it made from? This is just some fine craftsmanship here, really extensive, very nice. Michael
  17. Now how cool is that! Chris, excellent detailing and that it functions is just killer. Ultra clean work, a real joy to view. Your efforts are worth the time. Michael
  18. Luis, that's nice work! Excellent idea to get the proper curve, I really like the look. Good too, I'll bet we'll see some shiny motor parts from under the hood peeking through those clean cutouts. Michael
  19. Thanks Matt, wonderful pics. Some real rarities too. I've never seen the V8 Fiat before, a fantastic automobile era.
  20. Wow! Ludwig, I'd love to come along for a Friday Night cruise! Let's both be happy this puppy has an automatic, or you'll need new tires next week. The car looks excellent and the paint job does such a cool Mopar justice. Rally Wheels look correct, and a 440-6 is a cool number, the last of the best. Well done. Michael
  21. This is again super clean work. With all of the brackets back there I'm trying to figure out where the new part will be mounted, so I'll follow along to finally see. Michael
  22. Thanks for the info. Are the bodies good? I'd like to know if they have potential if they were bashed a bit. Good platform for something a little more detailed? Michael
  23. Hi guys, I looked at the Ebay link. What kind of kits are these? I don't know them. Michael PS: Cool model, and the pics from Greg are nice. I like it.
