  1. You CAN buy them online and have them shipped to the store for free. So there ya go
  2. So does the kit come with both the Max Wedge and the Hemi exhaust systems?
  3. I was just doing some more research and found information on the 64 Hemi exhaust just as you posted. Thanks So actually I need one of each as I am building Hemi Dodge and a Max Wedge Plymouth , (unless I change my mind and switch them around )
  4. So the Melrose Missile uses the Max Wedge Exhaust with the Hemi. Is that the correct exhaust for the Hemi or are they just using that one for performance reasons. If so what would be the correct exhaust for the Hemi in 64 ?
  5. Looking for a exhaust set up like this for a Max Wedge Mopar Thanks
  6. Great trade with afx. Stand up guy Thanks Jon
  7. I thought it was Big Red Bad Oldsmobile. Go figure
  8. I have been trying to do some research on Cross Rams. I first thought that the one I found in the 69 AMT Barracuda kit (with the extra bumps) (never figured out what the bumps were for, all the pictures shows them plugged??) were the type used on the Hemi. and the smooth ones found in the AMT Roadrunner and GTX kits were used on the Max Wedge engines After looking at a bunch of photos I discovered they were used a lot on either engine. I found other variations that seem to be aftermarket versions and nothing at all that looks like the one in the 49 Merc kit. If anybody has more info or a web site with more information I would very much like to hear it.
  9. This is the one from the 49 Merc AMT kit
  10. The one in the middle, second row looks like the one I found in the AMT 69 Barracuda as an extra Second one (right) in the third row is in my AMT Roadrunner kit.
  11. I buy mine at the Hardware store
  12. Didn't find what I am looking for at Missing link. Parts by Parks has some generic ones that are close. update: found what I was looking for http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/pbp/pbp6020.htm
  13. Found the air cleaners in the 49 Merc . Thanks Mike None of the above seem to have the correct hub caps Missing Link seems to have a defective web site. Posted a question on their FB page yesterday, no answer yet
  14. Thanks but those are just generic hub caps also none in the Petty kit
  15. I will be using the Color Me Gone kit for my Dodge 330 build so that should give me one set of air cleaners and the grille. I will still need another set of air cleaners for my Plymouth build. The Dodge and Plymouth dog dish hubcaps should be the same in 64. I need two sets of these. I also need to pick up a Color Me Gone kit. Thanks
  16. Looking for a aftermarket company that makes early 60's Mopar dod dish caps and air cleaners for the Cross Ram Dual 4brl used in the early 60's Hemi and Max Wedge 426 Also looking for a single headlight grille for the 64 Dodge 330 MW. (I found one but have since lost the link) Thanks
  17. Thanks for the interest and info Jon
  18. I am in the planning stages of building a 64 330 w/426 Max Wedge as to build a "sleeper" to match the car in the song "Little Old Lady From Pasadena" by the Beach Boys (originally by Jan & Dean). I will also be building a 64 Plymouth Belvedere Max wedge to go with it. I will be building these simultaneously. It's also fun for me to do the research on these cars and engines.
  19. Which of the Linderg 64 Dodge 330 kits came with the 426 Max Wedge engine ? Is there any other kits that may have it or is it available somewhere else ? Also need the hood scoop for the 64 Dodge or Plymouth SS Thanks
  20. I have been doing some research into this and I believe you are correct. All the major car companies got in on it. Chevrolet started with the 409, Pontiac had the 421 Super Dutys , Dodge and Plymouth started out with the 383 and 413 until a rule change in 1963 allowed them to got to the 426 Max Wedge. and Ford started with the 352, 390 then the 427 as did Mercury. I don't know if Dodge or Plymouth had a specific name for there cars as different models were used over the years but some of the Plymouths were referred to as the "Max Wedge" which may be only a reference to their engines. Some info and lots of pictures in the link http://georgeklass.net/super-stock.html
  21. The first kit wouldn't give you the right hood but the 4 would all work
