  1. I just knew that it was something like that. But wanted to ask anyway! I think there is available those tires you like from Scenes Unlimited or someone. Also I do agree, those old AMT tires are the best looking when painted. David S.
  2. I have to ask, why don't you just paint the tires? It's a lot easier for sure! David S.
  3. Yup-yup! That's what I'm talkin' bout!! I thought just the wagon body was cool.
  4. I have a few '57 Chevy pics for you. They were done pretty much the same way. I think!?! David S.
  5. Well that's going to look nice! David S.
  6. I hope you feel better soon! I can most certainly relate to having my building put on hold because of health issues. There is most likely many here that can understand where your at. But one things for sure, it looks great so far here! And I bet it will look great when you do finish it. Whenever that might be. Build happy sir, David S.
  7. Well now, that is looking amazing! I have been looking forward to seeing some of those '54 model Hudson's being built. I can't wait to see more Jason. David S.
  8. I think the gasser idea on that car would look incredible. David S.
  9. Does any resin parts maker do a '29- '32 trunk lid with the louvers? Maybe just wishful thinking on my part!?! David S.
  10. Hey thanks Will, I do have a bit of stuff done, but I'm waiting to post pics, info, etc. Kinda wanted to have a bit of stuff to "show n tell" as it were! David S.
  11. I think that nose piece looks like it belongs on a different car all together. (To me that is!) But the build over-all is very cool, I have been a fan of Corvairs for like, . . forever. David S.
  12. Yeah, I have to agree. That proto type creation has just too huge of a wing in back. If that wing really worked right the car would be just driving on the back wheels. But I love what you have going here, and am looking forward to seeing this take shape. David S.
  13. Yeah, you keep me thinking all the time. But mostly, you keep me thinking "Dang, I will never be able to do that kind of stuff"!! I'm still enjoying this one for sure. This is already my favorite type of build, add in all the goodies, and you have quite a treat. Yeah, I'm long winded, sorry! Build Happy, David S.
  14. That color is incredible, I just love that shade of blue you used! Off to a great start. David S.
  15. Well . . . . me Likey-likey then!! David S.
  16. Now that is looking very cool! David S.
  17. Kinda has a old Lincoln coupe look to it now. I love it, and will be watching! David S.
  18. You have so much to take in all at once here just for your opener. But one things for sure, I'm going to love this build! Dang it, it just reminds me that I need to find me a couple of those '32 5 window coupes from Revell. David S.
  19. Wow Art, I just knew this car was special from the very start! Good job, and that was a well deserved trophy. Best regards, David S.
  20. Bill, I like this also, I picked one up just for the wheels and tires. But now I'm looking forward to doing the roadster variant of the kit. That finish and color is way nice like Misha mentioned! It's going to be cool!! Show Rods rule, David S.
  21. Hey James, If you get the finish to perfect it won't look like it belongs on a car like that. To me that finish looks great the way it is right now! Just my humble opinion. But either way you go, I'm liking this build for sure. Build on, and be happy, David S.
  22. You could even get the options by ordering them separate and have any color you wanted that way. But not the wheels! We had a guy here where I live that had a plain light blue one with dog dish hub caps and painted wheels. I'm sure the seats were not available either! They were being built in Racine Wisconsin at the time. David S.
  23. That color looks incredible on a Beetle. Keep up the great work here! David S.
  24. I think that is going to look real nice! David S.
  25. The 40 Ford idea is right on the money! Before even reading through this thread I was thinking that the contours of the deck area had 40 Ford written all over them. I think a chunk out of the deck from a 40 Ford wouldn't take much to fit it into the void there. David S.
