  1. Build a few years back. This was my second attempt at this kit and this time I got it finished. The doors are glued shut as I could not get the hinges to work proper.
  2. I tried to build this kit back when it was first released and it was an utter failure that met it's fate to a black cat firecracker! (wish I still had it today) You did a fantastic job on a difficult to build kit! I have only seen 4 or 5 of these that were ever finished!
  3. Great looking first generation Charger! Great pick on the color too!
  4. Another great looking buggy with a different twist! Orange twist to be exact!
  5. Very very nice! Gotta love them old Studes!
  6. Wish we had an Ollies here! I could use one that didn't cost a leg!
  7. Don't forget the bike is on the roof when you put it in the garage!
  8. I had to remove over an eighth of an inch out of my rear bumper. Mine is molded in gray soft plastic th a is terrible to clean the flash off of!
  9. Unfortunately the plow was missing so used the push bar. In the winter most had a power start unit the would put in the back that was gas powered.
  10. Another one built some time back. Tried and build it like one that a local service station had when I was a kid. Had what was left if the old Baja Jeep kit and parts from another later Jeep kit. Didn't have the doors for the half cab so made my own from a couple hoods that were in the parts box and added fictitious business information!
  11. That is just what that car needed! That would be a cool option in that kit next time around except not many would know what it is!
  12. Old school look with a modern twist under the hood! Another great looking Hornet!
  13. Built a few years back.
  14. I have rebuilt several garage find guitars. One a early 70's Harmony that a member of my sons band had planned to destroy. Rebuilt a ups Fender knock off Jazz Bass for my son. Currently have a DIY bass kit that seems to be a cross between a Jazz and P bass that I found at Goodwill for 25 dollars!
  15. Used to use that technique back in the 60s & 70s on 1:1 cars using plastic lace table cloths!
  16. Just like in the 1:1 world never will see two buggy the same!
  17. Nice quick build! Glad to see a Ford power plant under the hood!
  18. Sweet buggy! Thanks for sharing it with us! Always wondered about the glitter blast paint, now I need to use it on a car!
  19. Must be the thing today. I know three people here locally that do photography and they have all said the same! They all have more work than they can handle!
  20. My hats ARE SIMPLE AND say one of 4 things. US ARMY NRA SMITH & WESSON GREEN BAY
  21. Richard is so right that it is a pig of a kit! Terrible flash and misalignment of the dies. I have had this one on the bench for a month now, have to keep walking away from it lest I''ll smash it! Took a week on the body to get all the parts to line up and finally got paint on it. I built this kit decades ago and though it wasn't the greatest at least it built up fairly easy!
  22. Nice work! It is apparent a lot of thought went into this build and it paid off in spades! From the side it looks sort of like my HHR!
  23. Great looking Bug. Don't care how you build them Bugs are just cool! The only other things I see that could add more realism are the tin work would have been semigloss black (more like flat black buffed out a bit), the muffler would have been just rust brown or flat gray with rust(new were flat gray) and the heater boxes were always rust brown.(new they were flat gray) I wish they would have had the option of the bumper guards though in the kit.
  24. I owned one of these back in 1983 and I am still kicking myself for selling it!
  25. I actually gave it a thought but then decided I would play it safe!
