  1. Great Colour, Even better Wheels! Perfect Little Street Rod!
  2. Wow! Looks Sharp in the Verde!
  3. Looks nice, Brain. I'm planning on finally getting some bench time this weekend to work on my Stutz racer.
  4. Dang, Pete. I'd LOVE to see them Falcon Codes.
  5. Steve, I'll join the Club. I'm a Cheeseburger guy too. (and, Gary Larson saved my sanity in the 80's-90's)
  6. That has to be one of the sharpest builds of that kit I've ever seen. Two Thumbs Up!
  7. Good One, Snake! By the time I was stationed in Okinawa at Kadena AB in 1987, That "Meanest SOB in the Valley" was on T-Shirts, Door Hangers, and posters, all over SEA.
  8. My Dad always says; "We'll Burn That Bridge, When We Get There!" Never have been able to correct him.......
  9. I remember reading this thread at the Collector Model blog. That may be where I saw it. Thanks for posting this Casey
  10. This is great news, Tim! I'm in for a couple, just because of the Supercharger.
  11. Bad Dog! Do you want another Engine? I have a spare.
  12. Sharp Build. I like the Colours. It looks authentic.
  13. Thank You, Tim, for correcting my rusty memories. I wish that the Tractors would come back someday.
  14. I agree that promoting the Mix & Match options on the instruction sheets, would be far more cost effective than parts packs. Even a separate insert showing how to get a specific truck, and what kits you'd need to build it, would be nice. I'd like to build a V-8 Powered, 4x4, Utility Bed truck someday.
  15. IIRC, from Tim Boyd's article in the "Other Mag", the tooling for the Tractors, Plows and Farm Trailers, was not part of the deal when AMT bought the other truck tooling from ERTL. So, until someone can convince ERTL to let somebody run plastic in the tooling ERTL still holds, the Tractors, Backhoe, Ect, From that tooling will not be seen again. I'll go out on a limb, and guess that Tom Lowe, and others in the Model community have tried to get the use of that tooling, and so far have not been successful. But, maybe someday. Tim Boyd or others probably know much more than I do, as I mostly just read stuff, and extrapolate from what ahs been mentioned or guessed at by other who know more than I do.
  16. Great Tribute Build! Where did the wheels come from?
  17. Could those be aftermarket disc brakes on the '64 Olds?
  18. The Revell '32 Fords. Esp the Sedan and 5 Window. Oodles of options in the box, and great fit.
  19. Fine Work, Geno! I really like the '66 Chevelle.
  20. Man, what an Awesome Build, Chuck. Makes me regret trading my LRE, kit.
  21. If only it were that simple. (sigh).... Tanks are not that simple, although there is at least one 5'n'1 M1 Abrams tank kit.
  22. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/oldsmobile/amt-64-f-85-cutlass/ If this is really a variant of this kit, coming back, it has the Judson Twin Superchargers!! If the restored kit has those in it, it moves to the top of my list, immediately.
  23. Yes, German Armor can get that sub-type specific some times. Russian T-34 tamks are also molded in a large variety, depending on which factory made the turret, and which roadwheels were used. Note too, that even the American M-4 Sherman, comes in both Cast and Welded Hull versions, and were built with at least 4 types of main guns. (75 mm, 76mm, 105mm and the British 17 pounder)
  24. It will be fun to see that '64 Cutlass kit. Tooled up a year after I was born. I want one.
