  1. I'm intrigued by this. Looks pretty cool. Having some experience with Revell snappers, and seeing what's in the box, I agree with others. Must have.
  2. Wow! Just stumble on to this. Great modifications. You really have to look twice to appreciate all the work. This is what a Smokey Yunick custom would look like, very subtle. I'll be following along.
  3. This is going to be awesome. Great concept, I'll be following along.
  4. I see this all the time. The "health conscious" cruising the lot or waiting for the closest spot possible at the gym. You're going to exercise, a few more steps won't kill you!
  5. I recently receive the opel admiral from ICM with no plated parts. The kit is also boxed as an RoG kit. Might be a connection there.
  6. A man goes to see his doctor. The doctor asks what the problem is. Well doc, I've been having this recurring dream and it's driving me crazy. The doctor asks the man to describe it. Well it starts out with me being a wigwam, then I turn into a tepee. Then I'm a wigwam again, then a tempee. This continues and I switch back and forth between them faster & faster until I wake in a sweat. You gotta help me, I'm going crazy. The doctor says you need to relax, you're two tents.
  7. Although a lot of my buddies at the time thought it was great, I'll have to say Phantasm. Pretty goofy. Danny Partridge with long hair & and a pinball with wings.
  8. J Geils Band 1973 @ MSG. Brownsville Station, (Smoking in the boys room), was the warm up.
  9. Hi, just one. Krylon satin periwinkle. I used the rear pan and top of the engine from the newer release of the Aka Kart. Wheels/tires from a Monogram '30 ford. The headlights are Ala Kart inserts fitted into the housings of the AMT '53 ford P/U custom grill. Headers were found in the parts box. Quick change rear from a NASCAR truck kit, and adapted to the kit axle.
  10. Can't say I've seen one of these before, built or otherwise. Really, really nice. Great choice of color.
  11. Man, that paint is flawless. Love the interior work too.
  12. Yeah..... That's good stuff.
  13. Wow, very nice. Like the color choice & the interior came out well.
  14. Spoofed this vette at the local gas station this morning sporting vintage Iowa plates.
  15. I'm currently working on the Opel Admiral kit. It has good engraving and precise fit with very little, if any, flash. Well detailed, but the multi-piece body may deter some who would otherwise consider it.
  16. Revell's '37 ford kits are good too. Also they're Chevy/Ford pick ups from that vintage.
  17. The scale auto website is being shut down on Oct. 9 & incorporated into FSM.
  18. Stumbled across this bunch in a parking garage
  19. I was transplanting azaleas yesterday when I came across this "garden bed find." Cleaned it up And here's what I have. The chassis plate is dated 1974. It's been in the ground at least 30 years, ( how long we've lived here.) Any idea what car it is? Looking at the grill/headlights & the date, I thought Torino, but I not sure if the c pillar is right. Would it be worth more as a survivor or restored As a side note, the previous owner had a pristine Apollo white GSX in the garage. The realtor assured me it didn't come with the house
  20. Drop top Bentley on the ride home from work.
  21. Looks really nice. I'm digging the interior.
  22. Low, lean & mean. Beautiful execution.
  23. Really nice. It's fun watching how your skills improve with each build.
